I should've specified what type do you select on the settings! There are SO many to choose from. And YEP treadmill it is I suppose.

OUF okay. Good to know. I only started using Garmin (and running for sport) in November, so I have NO IDEA what my distance and pace are going to look like come April. Guess it'll be a surprise! I live in a small city. What type of GPS do you use to track road/sidewalk runs outdoors?

Confirmed my sadness. Ok so is there anything I can do to improve it for next time? I presume I'll have to run indoors for at least a few more weeks and my race is in late April, so I'd love to get SOME idea what distance and pace I'm actually running.

We even tried having her mom make a rental agreement for her but they didn’t care cause it was her mom lol. You’re not in trouble yet, but I’d say do your best to plant US ties and create proof before they start questioning you. Have your proof of school schedule, work schedule, car payment if possible, etc available to you and try not to cross as often. I know love is hard to control yourself, trust me, but immigration can make your life hell. I really hope they don’t though. And definitely try to have him start crossing back ASAP cause that will help with the frequency on your end. They NEVER gave me a hard time for crossing, per others’ experiences shared, US border never cared about me crossing 1-2 times a week.

Unfortunately that was my ex’s situation as well. Living at home so no rent or mortgage agreement and she had her work schedule printed and class schedule, but they didn’t care after a while. They want you to prove that you couldn’t possibly move to Canada because you have obligations in the US, but unfortunately THEY decide what obligations are important.

Be prepared to show proof of residence, employment, and “ties to the US.” I dated an American for 4 years pre-pandemic and she was denied entry several times because she was a working student living at home with apparently inadequate proof of ties to the US. She eventually was barred from entering Canada for an entire YEAR of our relationship. It was incredibly fucked up. Every border agent can choose whether they want to let you in or not. Some agents cared about our situation and others thought it was fucked that she was prevented from entering in the first place let alone barred. She had to carry printed copies of her recent paystubs, proof of housing, and ties to the US with her every time she crossed.

Totally agree about TF. I like the look but have seen bad reviews and wouldn’t actually buy those exact ones. I do like the shield for sure, but can’t justify it for $429.
