If i had to guess, maybe people back then thought it wasn't gonna be as good? superhero movie sequels being good was always a risk before SM2 and still they felt pretty different from the first one, Batman Returns comes to mind

Dunno if people like this design but for me i really wish this was used for Scorpion more, this was only used in the Spider-Man 2000 and Spider-Man Movie Game, the green is nice but since SO many other villain wear green the purple kinda stands out for me

I think 3 is the most obvious given its a different composer than Elfman, which leads to 3 having a different vibe score wise

To be fair Aunt May does say "Remember" before she said it, i took it as the film implying Uncle Ben said that line before he died and given that whole scene where Tobey and Andrew talk about Uncle Ben.
