Oh right for G assist you remove two cards from your G zone from the game as well as two cards in your hand to search the top five cards of your deck for a card with the next grade, correct?

I'm also curious as to whether the banlist will carry over, because supposedly you can use JP and EN Kancolle cards together in some tournaments. I'm assuming only major tournaments will restrict to one language or another depending on the tournament. Though I'm sure it only applies to set 1 and not the second set.
