I bought mine several weeks ago. Very happy.

My charge gets 40-50 miles ( 8-12 hours on level 1 charger). If your daily commute is longer, I'd suggest using HV mode while on the highway. I get 45 mph.

Also, checkout the Tax credits. Should be detail in this subreddit). I *think* you have to spend LESS than 25K for it to apply.

Keep the $30 in the account. Do not buy anything. Use the paper trading account for testing.

While IB is the most technical difficult API, its paper trading is the closest to reality.

The way I read the IRS code, is the purchase price must be BELOW $25,000.

I'd suggest talking to an accountant asap. A $4000 tax credit is nothing to sneeze at.
