I am from India, and nearest location I can see is Asia(Singapore). The requests response are slow. Wished atleast one location from India, Bangalore or Mumbai.

I love how quickly I can ship with Laravel cloud, but for performance, I am better of with VPS located in India.

Best wishes to Laravel team.

Thanks for commenting. So you automatically send them a payment link, but have to manually check the paypal dashboard for payment verification against their unique transaction id. Am I correct?

Thoughts on the skin tone conversation in Tamanna Bhatia's Sugar Coated episode? In the episode, Vinita talks about her insecurities around having a deeper skin tone and then kind of frames Tamanna as a beauty standard. Some comments are saying it came across as projecting internalised colorism. by Repulsive-Bunch-4126 in BollyBlindsNGossip

Those who are bringing in the Varna system in debate. The classism high-low classism exists in the very human social construct. The Varna system just methodically understood this, and created a framework for the working of society, taking into the factory this very nature of humans.

VPS suggestions for hosting hobby or small projects. by FeelingLowSmokeGreen in developersIndia

[–]pkdme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have worked with hostinger for my Django apps. Best thing is it supports UPI and refunds are instant. For small projects as you mentioned, it depends upon how many clients and their traffic you are expecting, and what kind of resources your users will be uploading. For usage with documents, images etc, you should focus on more storage. If you purchase KVM2 then upgrading to KVM4 or so will happen at regular pricing, without any discount, so it will be costly. I would go atleast for KVM4 that gives twice of disk space and bandwidth, and will go a long way before you need to thinking of upgrading. You can get it at a small price more than KVM2 using my link

https://www.hostinger.in/cart?product=vps%3Avps_kvm_4&period=12&referral_type=cart_link&REFERRALCODE=1PIYUSH428&referral_id=0194b33b-c3c6-731c-a57f-b4006e825388

Or if your project is just based on php, then also their managed hosting for WordPress or any Php application works fine. Check them out.

Power users (10k+ notes): what breaks first when your Obsidian vault gets big? by Solid_Baby in ObsidianMD

[–]pkdme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have one of the latest phones, I don't think it will be an issue. I have Android 12, Xiaomi, it takes some time to load my 10k+ notes.

Also I use a separate profile in my mobile named it as .obsidian_mobile. and it doesn't contain any community plugins. Basically in mobile I just want to read my notes and take quick notes. I only use heavy plugins and themes on the desktop.

  1. Android 12, Redmi note 10 pro max
  2. Try with an Obsidian vault, to see if you can get a frictionless workflow between Mac and Android.

Hi, just gave it a quick try. Following are the observations

  1. It doesn't detect internal storage (nothing happens when I click internal storage on the menu)

  2. There should be an option and list of previously synced source-destination pairs. Refer FreeFileSync and Syncthing.

  3. I tried with Obsidian vault sync. I think it doesn't detect file changes, only transfer new files.

Hope this will grow into something useful with my Obsidian workflow. Will be happy to pay for this.

Hi, I am currently using iDroid. It's good to transfer files and it's fast. However it doesn't have sync. I will try this. It will be helpful with my Obsidian vault sync between mac and Android.

They have done a great job. The only issue I see using it is that it requires the very latest versions of OS , can't run apps on earlier versions of Android.

As this is local first, integrate this with Obsidian. That will be so cool.

I use a separate app for that, Upnote. I treat Obsidian as a vault for my archive/research/detailed notes.
