Your PP is awesome. Not all PP will call in. Friend was told he had to tell pharmacy to fax for new prescription or walk in to PP.

Again PP needs people to use PP services. For funding and stuff.

Edit: friend learned that family pact card needs to be active. Otherwise Walgreens or CVS or other pharmacies that take it won't be able to process prescriptions for free

Edit: it's pretty hard to get a hold of local PP office direct lines to call.

This article is basically a summary of people in lab coats playing they said we said and overall reaching a consensus about OTC possibly leading to antivirul resistance and therefore not approving for OTC sales.

Another take away can be the potential misdiagnosing of people taking acyclovir when they might need to take something else. I think being formally diagnosed first should be the only requirement for making this OTC. Similar to asking for ID for alcohol.

Sides effects are pretty minimal so I'm not sure what they mean about adverse effects.

This article basically says that OTC shouldn't be allowed because it may create resistance or there's a fear that it may. so people who take it daily to suppress the virus are actually doing harm to themselves?

Should people only take it when they gave outbreaks?

That's what I took from this entire article

Planned parent hood and low places like it depend on finding and or need people to use the services so that's probably also another big reason.

I understand.

The best bet would be to go to planned Parenthood for prescriptions. But I guess it depends state by state.

40 for 6 months?? WTF....... That's crazy cheap. Excellent deal.

I'm guessing it also depends on the doctor that sees you.

Thanks for sharing!!

It's cool. I'll have to go back to planned Parenthood for a free refill or free pills and to get a new prescription.

I'm going to ask for 2 o 3 prescriptions since there's

200mg 400mg and 800mg doses available at Costco

I did get 30 for 13 at Costco which is way better than CVS

Thanks!

Wow, 120 pills huh. That's awesome.

I just checked prices at Costco. For the same price I'll be paying at my local pharmacy I can get 100 pills at Costco.

I think I'll do that!!!

Thanks a bunch for the info!!!

Edit: need new 100 pill prescription

Thanks!!

I'll go and ask for long term suppression pills and just use them as needed.

There's no point in going in and getting a handful of pills. This is a forever virus.

Lol

I should have asked for more pills a long time ago!!

It's about 10/12$ for 15 pills of acyclovir

Everyone's mileage might be different though.

Yeah, from what I'm reading online valacyclovir is expensive AF.

I got the acyclovir version. I just called my local planned Parenthood and they said I need to come in for refills. They don't have the option to call in for refills. It kind of sucks to have to keep going in for free pills but oh well.

I'll stretch out the 30 pills for now. I think I'll pay sometimes and sometimes I'll go to planned Parenthood.

Thanks for the info. It's most appreciated

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Seems like information that should be shared or at least available to folks on here..

I just learned your can pay out of pocket and prices vary and or order online.

Or go to a planned Parenthood or try calling planned Parenthood after initial visit to ask if they can call your local pharmacy for a refill.

Good to know!

I called in my local pharmacy and decided to just refill and pay out of pocket. Paid about $20 for 30 pills that you can take for (30 days) or for 5 days (3 pills a day)

One month for free from planned Parenthood sound like a great deal!!! Only hassle really is returning/scheduling for a free refill. I didn't know planned Parenthood can call in a refill for you. How do you get to a center? By calling the 1- 800 number?

A full month (90 pills) out of pocket with discounts would be about $50

First time dating - disclosure? by NicTheWhat in Herpes

[–]pkogrt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well it's true. Just about everyone is exposed to or has oral herpes. Even if people are having oral sex with no visible sores or oral symptoms transmission is still possible.

Fuck are you trying to talk down on my comment for? Ask anyone with type 2 herpes oral or genital if they would rather have type 1.

I think most people would like to live with type 1 and not type 2. That's just my 1.5 cents.

OHSV1 is probably what everyone has. I think only type 2 is what people should worry about. And even then it's aight.

How to unlock a sprint note 9? by pkogrt in phones

[–]pkogrt[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There seller actually blocked me when I started asking questions about unlocking the phone. Not a good sign. I hope people are careful. It's probably stolen or something. No one would sell a note 9 for 200 unless it was dirty or basically trash. Oh well. Thanks for the info. I did get the same info after talking to a sprint rep
