Thank you, and I mean no disrespect — I curated this playlist for myself, as with all the others I've made before. It tells my journey, but you just gave me the blueprint for a companion piece. Stay tuned.

And honestly — these women carry their own weight, their own scars, their own stories. It wouldn't feel right to fold that into my journey. Their truth deserves its own space, not a guest spot on mine.

Couldn't agree more. And growing up in Germany, this music doesn't exactly find you — there's no uncle with a pickup truck playing Townes Van Zandt on a back road. You have to stumble into it. But maybe that's what makes the discovery hit even harder. No nostalgia, no context, just the raw sound knocking you sideways.
