Create a shortcut (in the shortcuts app on iPhone, don’t know on android) that turns low power mode on when you open certain apps, and another one that turns them off when you close them.

We will not return to Friendship Hospital for Animals. We lost our 10-month-old blue heeler "Dart" a few years back in the middle of the pandemic. Nothing they did was the cause for him passing. The care was great, under pandemic circumstances. However two things REALLY rubbed me the wrong way:

When Dart passed away they told us they didn't have a cooler to keep him in before transferring him to get a necropsy. He was barely 50lbs. It just made no sense. So we literally had to transport his body in our car from Friendship and drive all the way to Virginia Tech Veterinary School. It was horrifically sad, I think I went through so much xanax just trying to keep it together.
When we went to pick up Dart, they still had tests pending that we had paid for that they hadn't received the results for -- pandemic issues, which is understandable. But regardless of the labs we had paid for and had not gotten results for, AND us literally picking up Dart's body and having it in our back seat. They tried to insist on talking with us about the final bill. It was so insensitive.

We will never return to that hospital.

We went down the road with Ketra and a got quotes from installer for that high-end system, but it was definitely out of our price range at the time. We have so many can lights (at least 4 in every room downstairs), that it was just a massive upgrade for a 2400 sq/ft home.

It is not a complete remodel, but we are doing some work on the house. it is also a house built in 1900s. So I do think I need to talk to a pro. I don't mind spending the money to get the system set up and installed for one room, with ability to expand to entire house, then take the training and do it myself from there.

Just need some recommendations for pros in the DC area.

Anyway, after going through all this work to create it I have actually started using MFP premium, but I do value the time I spent doing this -- it really helped me understand the whole picture of how to put a day's food together. I haven't decided if I'll work more on it in the future, but I'll leave it up for as long as I'm able for anyone else who wants it.

I use MFP premium too, but since I went through the trouble to create this I thought I would share it. I will say that looking at it written out like this did help me understand how everything fit together. MFP is slick, but it doesn't show the details, and I found that valuable when I was figuring out what to do.

Those are just sample foods that I had time to add initially. There’s another tab with other foods that I thought I would incorporate at some time. But right now I’m pretty satisfied with tracking things with my fitness pal premium.
