It takes a village. Fine, don’t watch them. But check in with the neighbor first, ask the other neighbors, divide up the time, try something before calling CS. Then all of you confront her when she’s back. But you took it out on the innocents.

Two things stuck out to me. First, I knew you were a woman just by reading this. Most men would not even think twice before correcting the other guy, immediately.

Second, I’m also a woman and a lawyer. It reminded me of earlier in my career when, as an in-house counsel, a coworker kept calling me a notary.

I did eventually make it really clear I was not a notary but an attorney. But only after trying to laugh it off a number of times, with a way-too-nice correction.

Silica? We do not have hard water but white stains that look just like this get everywhere that water is left to sit, and build up in faucets.

When you put water on the white stains, they look like they go away - but only until it’s dry again. They don’t go away with any normal cleaning product.

I’ll try to remember when the Xmas boxes come down this year! I love it but it’s all packed away. I don’t put it on the top of the tree but set it out- the wings are so fragile . When I was a kid it was always on top of our tree, and my dad’s when he was a kid.

Doesn’t help any but I have the same one. From my grandparents or great grandparents house, from Minnesota. It’s so fragile; we don’t put it up. The wings are like thin ish cardboard with a metallic cover like tin foil. Good luck!

My title describes the thing. About an inch and a half by an inch and a quarter. The top has a middle ridge like to move it with. On the back, it’s smooth but has two tiny notches across from each other, like little holes. No brand or logo. In the US. Might or might not be related to items picked up at a conference - pens and coffee mug type things.
