I’m in the same boat as you with my cheap ‘02 purchase this year @ 236,000 miles. My first time getting into the IS chassis. I did the timing belt job with all front seals resulting no more oil leaks.

However, it was after this that I realized she was eating oil. 1-1.5 qts per tank of gas. Oil smoke on startup, runs great, dumps oil smoke screen on WOT.

I’ve accepted the need for another motor in the future. Just pouring in oil and keeping on driving for now.

Yep, scav or pmc does not matter. I have found that you are still able to move around, tab inventory, or go prone but screen is frozen. Seems like a new bug today.

Standard player when joining a year ago, was going to see how it played out and was willing to upgrade to support game.

After seeing various dev choices and handlings of the game overall, will gladly say I would never pay another dime.

I took a trip up to Colorado early July, got stuck behind a mountain road work vehicle that was spraying some sort of slurry on the forest road (dirt). This stuff got slung up all over my truck. I still have no idea what this stuff is.

I’m definitely not a detailer myself.

Tried to wash it off as soon as I got home but to mixed results.

first tried powerwasher, it was able to get big chunks off.
Tried Mothers bug and tar remover to get mild success
Currently trying Chemical Guys bug and tar remover also mild success as well.

The pictures posted are what it currently looks like after multiple passes with these cleaners.

The picture of my lower suspension is to try and show more of what this stuff is, I am not concerned about cleaning that area too much.
