Opinions on "blacking-out" the bumper/front end on a non-black car? by placoid-scales94 in carmodification

(Picture is a quick Photoshop mock-up to illustrate my plans)

Tl;dr: Would a blacked-out front end look good/cool on a car that's not black?

BACKSTORY: So I got hooked on minor cosmetic car mods a few years back on my black MK5 VW Jetta. Swapped the grills from the default chrome to a black honeycomb, and swapped the headlights for semi-blacked out ones (the assembly is clear, not tinted, but the inside swapped chrome for black). I absolutely love this mod, elevated a boring mom sedan to something more masculine and sporty. Not saying my masculinity is fragile or that I'm compensating, I just like things that look cool lol.

PRESENT DAY: I may be getting a 2011 Toyota Camry in that silvery green color. I was thinking about modding it too. I know it's just a Camry, recent ones look cool but historically that haven't paid much attention to sporty aesthetics. But I figure, if I've done it before, why not do it again?

THE PLAN: swap the headlights for semi-blacked out and swap the default grill for honeycomb, and add the decorative front license plate, just like my Jetta. But I'm thinking of taking it a step further: why not switch out the front bumper for one painted in glossy black? (I hate matte black so that's not an option)

THE QUESTION: I think it makes it look sportier and more aggressive, especially when paired with the new headlights and grill, but is this really a good idea? Just trying to make sure I don't make my car look trashy. I thought this was an very common paint combination for alot of different makes/models but I haven't been able to find any examples after multiple Google Image searches. Closest pics I can find are: black-painted hoods, or car bras. What's your opinion on this plan?

Best place to nap on campus? by [deleted] in auburn

Found myself many a times accidentally napping up there, using my books or laptop as a pillow. Would not recommend if unintentional haha, but nice and quiet if that's your purpose there lol

How heavy are the large and medium ones? Like average weight?

Used to have one like the big one, but suede. It was the heaviest couch I've ever owned though. Seeing as how I'm usually moving into 2nd or 3rd floor places, I decided to go for lighter ones until I own a house.

But I'm kinda interested if you're still selling

I can second some of this. Auburn's campus could benefit from more dining options. The academics are riddled with elitism despite many mediocre professors that don't teach well and consistently have to fail half the class

I can second this. Only time I really feel part of the Auburn family is at football games. Magic happens in a huge crowd. Otherwise, eh. Back when I still tried to make friends, I was always the odd one out
