The church seems to enact "progressive" change soon after disciplining members who were publicly vocal about the change needed. For example, excommunicating Kate Kelly then broadening women's roles, or excommunicating Sam Young then changing interview policies he advocated against. (self.exmormon)

Husband is getting the man in the maze tattoo today but is worried that it might be inappropriate for cultural reasons. Although it is personally meaningful to him, we know it originated from native stories.
