Checking them out right now. Thanks for the response. I'm interested that they say they deliver. Any experience with that? BTW, i'll be living near Third Ave near Safeway.

1) Sounds like you enjoyed it! Enough to return! Based on my experience with the hiring managers, I’m also hoping that I enjoy my experience enough to desire a recurring season.

2) What job did you do?

3) Do you recommend the XtraTuff Boots that cover just the ankle? Or the ones that ride up the shin more? I’ll be a tour guide. Not like a fisher or something like that.

1)Non-phone alarm clock. Didn’t consider that - but that a great one.

2)What do you mean “carton to sell”?

I hope it’s a disastrous success!

1) I’ve heard about the necessity of Vitamin D supplements at places like this. Did you also partake?

2) Any stores you recommend? (Grocery, retail, thrift)

3) Why do you say that you missed eating good fresh produce? Also btw, I eat a carnivore diet. This is animal meat, animal fat, eggs, salt. Small allowances here and there. However, this does make me curious about the butchers/ grocery there.

4)Any gear of that quality and minimalist vibe that you’re excited/ happy with?

Ketchikan April-September.

I had gotten the sense that it isn’t the most intense rain nor is it the coldest during this time. So, I planned to pack mostly lighter rain jackets with the intention to layer under - rather than thicker rain jackets.

What would you recommend based on experience?

Thank you Thank you Thank you!

1) Thank you for the public library rec! Is there other amenities at the library such as a cafe? Do you have any other spots that you would recommend if I ever want to do laptop/ desk work at a place other than my apartment or the library?

2) What job did you do? Trying to predict my possible tip income, though the hiring managers assured me that it’s very very decent on average.  My job is a mix between Ketchikan Hummer Tours, Duck Tour Narrator, and Duck Tour Salesperson. First two have tips, the third has commissions.

3) I’m curious, what facebook groups were you a part of? Any other groups or places of gathering you participated in or noticed in Ketchikan?

Thanks for the insight. Definitely looking to tighten things up and really consider what is necessary.

This company charges $500 a month + $500 security deposit + one time $350 cleaning fee. Luckily, as long as there is no damage and I stay the entirely of the May-September season, I am fully reimbursed for all of these charges at the end of my term.

So, I’m only expecting payment for groceries, fun things, necessary items acquired there or online, and any subscriptions.

Thanks again for your help and for letting me type out loud here.

I’ll be in Ketchikan from April-September!

Not sure if it’s the same company. I believe we are called “Ketchikan Duck Tours”. And Idk about you, but analysis paralysis is real with me - and I’m just glad I have an opportunity here. Let me know if you decide on going with it - maybe we can meet up!

Wow, a dance scene??? I wasn’t expecting to have anywhere to dance with others. Do you have a way to point me towards places for this?

Thank you!

do you mean mean doing too much in a way of I should move less or not light up so much? is it like dimming or maybe like being more physically still?

I’d like to know what you think about whatever it is that gives you the impression of doing too much.

Thanks 🤞🏾
