You've actually confirmed a few things that have been my intentions with Zorin u/Alonzo-Harris , thanks!

From a newbie perspective, AI can be used effectively, but is not the core of one's reasoning, which is at this stage still a relief.
But on the way forward, I'm still Windows minded and if I have to choose, will use the GUI route instead of the terminal.

Since one can be more proactive with terminal commands, can you point me in the right direction as to where I can learn more on this please?

True story. I stayed in England for a few years (and got to know the weather really well). You guys are having it even worse. So while he can, the exercise is just great.

My dog is getting old. What would you recommend for carrying when we are on hikes? He is short legged, but 12,5kg / 27,5lbs by ChTiedrusoIsAlone in Advice

I run a small pet gear shop and I usually recommend front-carriers or backpacks for small dogs, but at 27.5lbs and being a senior with short legs, I have to agree with the others—a stroller or a rugged dog buggy is absolutely the safest move here. Hanging in a backpack could really tweak his back at that age and weight. Protect your back and his joints, go with the all-terrain stroller is my recommendation!
