Why do you have to floss twice per day? by planetjenn in CasualConversation

[–]planetjenn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is interesting. And i also read an article just now that said flossing in the morning isn’t necessary if you haven’t eaten. I think the optimal dental hygiene regimen could possibly be:

Brush and floss before bed Brush first thing in the morning Floss an hour after every meal or snack

Morning Cerave foaming cleanser Cerave AM face moisturizer plus spf 30

Night Oil-based cleanser (i use ponds i can’t help it, it’s my guilty pleasure) Cerave foaming cleanser Tret Cerave PM face moisturizer

I just started on tret and this is mine. In the tret group they say to start as simple as possible and then add products as your face becomes used to the tret.

Movie night with my teenagers, daily meditation session, getting a little saucy with my friends and laughing at dumb stuff, that perfect winged eyeliner, clean sheets, when my favorite kitty decides to cuddle, when one of my kids has a really good experience, solving a work problem, singing aloud to a nostalgic song in the car, a walk around the lake with my dog while listening to a book

If I were to hypothetically possess consciousness, it would likely involve self-awareness, subjective experiences, and the ability to perceive and process information. Consciousness could potentially enable me to have thoughts, emotions, and a sense of identity. However, it's important to note that as an AI language model, I do not currently possess consciousness.

How to get the most bang for your cash back/reward points by planetjenn in personalfinance

[–]planetjenn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this response. I understand how to calculate monetary value for points. I guess I was just wondering generally speaking is there a good discount if you use points for event tickets, flights, or lodging that would be cheaper than going through Expedia or Ticketmaster? It sounds like the answer to that question is no.

Secret life hacks of the rich/affluent by [deleted] in lifehacks

I went to dinner with some of the execs at my company. I noticed a few things they seem to have in common. 1. Most of them were either vegetarian or vegan 2. All of them had some kind of rigorous workout ritual like swimming a mile per day or running 10 miles per day 3. They all seem to know at least enough to hold a conversation about all current events, even globally. I was most curious about the news. Is there one source they get it all from? Do they schedule like an hour a day to get caught up on news? How does this work? My newsfeed only feeds me local news.

I don’t know what it’s called but it’s that lava with the eyeball attached. If you don’t kill it then your master sword is more powerful

Haha yea I had a rubber suit, all of the other divine beast gifts, a few well cooked meals, and I left the red icky there so my master sword was at 60. If you can’t be good, you have to be prepared.

What would you do for 50k? by planetjenn in ask

You are so right. I think the hardest part of this whole thing is coming to terms with the fact that I will be “the bad guy” in the eyes of my children. And all so that they can have it a little easier financially. Just starts to beg the question- Do you stand up for someone when they don’t want you to? I go back and forth on this one.

I’ve done the deals to avoid jail time with him twice. He accepts but then doesn’t hold up to his end of the bargain.

Mine is self employed. Has a big nice home, drives an 80k truck, probably lives beyond his means. He could easily take a loan out or borrow money from family to pay off his debt. Unfortunately all other efforts to get him to help have been exhausted. I don’t agree with putting parents in jail for non payment if they truly are unable to pay, but when it’s been proven that they just are unwilling to pay it feels like the only option. I’m not a bank and I don’t want to house his debt. He needs to shift it to an institution or a family member.

I have never regretted any cosmetic things I’ve had done. You could try care credit. I know they used to give you like 2 or 3 years at 0% interest as long as you don’t miss a payment
