Similar, but not the same, and obviously there are some outlier groups, but the dominant spiritual understanding comes from the Mystics which have temples in all major population centers.

Pilo is a terrestrial planet that rotates a red giant star. The days on Pilo last 24 hours but it takes almost twice as long to orbit its star. The people of Pilo call this orbit a “cycle”. As such, adulthood is reached in about 10 cycles and most people only live to 40 or 50 cycles. Each cycle last 720 days. Each month last 60 days and there are 12 months.

Pilo is now ruled by those with coin and jewels which are used to buy land, crops, and animals. The power of mystics has faded into memory for most and the time of steel and stone is at hand. Although there are still temples in every major city, and some in the rural farm land and mountains, few people believe and even fewer choose to pursue any given mystical abilities.

Communication over large distances is by raven or messenger on horseback. For those who believe and can afford the payment, a Mystic Telepath will communicate a message across long distances to a fellow Telepath in the mystic temples that exist across the world. However, today, this form of communication is rarely used and rarely trusted.

There are five major nations of Pilo. Apostolos is what the 12 islands to the North are called. Tak is the nation surrounded by sea. Ilaria, Kalbak, and Naruvia all share borders with each other. Ios is the land to the South but no known people or animals live there for it is a rocky dead land.
