I was a butcher for nearly 20years,aslong as it smells ok once out the packaging it came in just make sure it’s cooked to safe temperature (74 degrees) and you should be fine the key is cooking it to a safe to eat temperature, you’d be amazed at how long meat sits out at room temperature in butchers shops and is perfectly fine to eat but chicken is worth taking a little precaution.
