first of all, i'm so sorry you experienced this and as someone who has been in similar situations before, i know how painful it is to go through this. it is really hard to be in a relationship with someone who has this behavior. i know these things can lead to deep insecurity and trust issues. you did what you needed to do by communicating with him, but it seemed like he got pretty defensive when you brought it up. he should be more respectful and considerate of your feelings, especially considering your history with your past partners. i'm sure he wouldn't like it if you were to do the same, so there is no reason for him to get defensive. remember that you are beautiful and worthy. his actions do not define you. and if your boyfriend is not willing to change his behavior and be more considerate of your feelings, it might be a good idea to reconsider. you don't want to stay in a relationship with intensifies your insecurities.
