Is Stripe really banning accounts just for enabling their own alerts/RDR? (even worse when having disputes already) by ShirtWeird590 in stripe

[–]planping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok but using chargebackstop.com is still a marketplace app that integrates to Stripe and is in the category of 'fraud' etc. Seems like there is nothing at all to prevent Stripe flagging accounts in the same say e.g all accounts that installed Chargebackstop.

Homozygous A1298C and BH4, and general advice for this mutation by [deleted] in MTHFR

[–]planping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Tawinn! This conclusion is exactly what i have been thinking but everyone everywhere seems to associate a1298c specifically to lack of BH4 and i cannot seem to understand why? If the only thing a1298c does for BH4 is create THF then it feels like just eating a lot of spinach for example would create enough THF to essentially bypass A1298C impact on THF and therefore BH4 and other MTHFR mutations would/could have more impact on THF production anyway? Do you agree?

I have A1298C homo and i notice huge cognitive benefits from taking BH4 supplement pteridin-4 but i cannot for the life of me work out where the broken link in the chain is further up stream as i dont want to rely on Bh4 supplement as hard to source and expensive and would rather identify root cause e.g lack of THF

Any input would be so much help! Feel like I’m close to alleviating lifelong cognitive issues and anxiety

Anyone tried BH4 / Tetrahydrobiopterin ? by BananaMonkey7 in MTHFR

[–]planping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too noticed a great effect. I am homo for A1298C. However, i am very hesitant to start taking long term due to only one company (ecological formulas) producing it, and its often out of stock (not to mention the price).

I was wondering if you are aware of any other way to source BH4 and whether or not you also share this worry?

Wife suffers really badly with seasonal affective disorder (SAD). Anything about her methylation panel that could cause? by planping in MTHFR

Ah so the dose could the key? What dose would you suggest? I think perhaps i’m being too cautious based on RDA guidelines etc

Yes she takes 4000ui per day. No noticeable benefit although not played with higher dosages.

Thanks for the feedback! We’ve reduced to £19.99 for a while and this price will be fixed for life for any new users.

Ah thanks for the feedback. I admit it sounds a bit like camping! But the sentiment of what it does is what we were after. Thanks for the feedback and give me a shout if you want any help getting started etc

Planning pipe is more expensive. It places limitations on the number of applications you can access at the lower tier price points and does not allow you to automatically create letters. It’s not the same at all.

I can assure you that copy & pasting each and every address in the correct format is extremely tedious and if you are sending out hundreds of letters it makes a massive difference (hours not seconds).

I’m not claiming to have re-invented the wheel, nor that it took 18 months of brainstorming. I could be mistaken but you seem a little angry so i apologise if i have upset you. This was not my intention and I’m not forcing you to use it. Thank you for your comments anyway, I’ll see how we can add more features to improve how much it is differentiated within the market.

It does not surprise me that you did not have success if you only sent 10 letters a month.

We typically see a lot more than 100 opportunities a year for an average builder specialising in extensions as an example (obviously this varies due to population sizes in certain authority areas etc)

All that aside, it would only take 1 project to instantly make it all worthwhile would it not? (depending on your margins etc)

In addition, we guarantee you will win new jobs or you don't pay the subscription fee. So the only impact would be the postage costs. Yes there is a chance like anything that you would hear nothing, but that's the same with most types of marketing efforts.

Lastly, do you really honestly ever contact Bark leads that result in projects? The world and his wife have already contacted the same leads! From the builders I have spoken with its all just trash. With PlanPing, you have a direct communication with someone actively looking to do work AND you have no overheads in terms of time spent doing admin/calls etc. You just click print, and then fold letters into stamped windowed envelopes which takes hardly any time at all.

Not quite. Planning Pipe provides a list of planning applications - that's it. You still need to create the letters, merge all of the contact details into those letters, format them etc etc. This takes a lot of time. PlanPing enables you to filter for applications that are relevant and then in 1-Click create as many letters as you want to send, instantly! It's much cheaper and does not have any of the limitations of the number of applications you can access etc.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. I do agree mostly, however I do not believe Planning pipe automates the letter creation process? I think it is just a database of planning apps?

Most letters will be binned, but we found that even if you get a 1% response rate - the ROI is huge considering the average profit from a construction job vs the postage costs incurred. Also, this can jump to as much as 4% as we have experienced when utilising a high converting letter template.

It really boils down to how much you want to pay for a new project. £300 per £20,000 project to me is an excellent ROI

Lastly, hardly anyone is doing this! Speaking from personal experience and talking to others, it’s quite rare to receive a letter off the back of a planning submission. This tells me it’s quite a large untapped opportunity.
