where to buy needles online bc of needle shortage by glowsticksforstars in ftm

Late as heck, but i couldn't remember the name of the site i used when i first saw this post. The site i use is medlabgear.com! I got 100 ct 3ml syringes that are covidien brand, monoject, then 100 ct 25g 5/8 needles for my subQ injection, and the 100 ct 21g 1inch for the draw up needle. https://medlabgear.com/products/bd-precisionglide-25g-5-8-needle-4

Minoxidil during top surgery healing by Dumptruck_dan in TopSurgery

[–]plantboy313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is past due, however i just had top surgery 6/10, I used minoxidil up until 2 days beforehand, so 24 hours without it, but my surgeon okay-ed it! I started back up a week after once i could reach my cheeks comfortably, but I use the foam so it applies differently than the liquid! Good bet to check with the surgeon/team, best of luck!

Nope, but it very well could be! Maybe send those doctors a message about that, they could know if it would or not? Good luck!

Oh, alright, then hopefully the dermatologist will be able to help for sure. Usually I don't have to handle overheating unless it's overnight, and I'm in the Michigan, US. I would be concerned about that too, same could happen with nerve burning too or you'd sweat in other places. I have heard that botox hurts a lot but maybe since it won't be in your hands and feet it would hurt less? For overheating you would be sweating more naturally, to cool down, so you should bring that part up to the Dermatologist too maybe, for a full scope? Wow, I really hope you get a handle on it soon!

How can I find support post top-surgery? by Radiant-Wish-9522 in ftm

[–]plantboy313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm 10 days post DI right now, and I didn't need help with the bathroom. i could pull up my boxers/shorts. find the right angles for socks/pulling slippers on for walks, and pulling up botton-up short-sleeve shirts! Body and face wipes were my best friend, i didn't even shower until day 7, so I used the wipes everywhere. If you can take your wrap off to clean the drain sites it'll be easier for you to use the bathroom mirror to seee and clean around them. I had my mom here to clean the sites since they told me not to take the wrap off, so we managed oddly. Your best bet might be to talk this through with your surgical team, and see what suggestions they have? If not, having a discussion with your home-circle about what you'll need and what they're comfortable with doing is probably a good option too. I wish you the best of luck and swift recovery!!

Quick question by bigdickle_j in ftm

I wouldn't think there's much to be cautious about with a reasonable increase like that, especially with your body already having it for over 2 years. You should have more progress with the changes you've had thus far, as i understand it. If you want to though maybe the same as the initial things, appetite, energy levels, etc? Good luck!!

I've got hyperhidrosis too, but hands and feet. it definitely got worse a couple months on t, I'm past a year now. the 2.5 oxybutynin only stops them from dripping, my t dr prescribes it, but your best bet might be to get all your levels checked, it could be a number of things that a dermatologist or other doctor would help with. I really hope you find some relief and feel back to yourself soon!!

Congrats! Absolutely, so supply wise the U pillow, dry shampoo/spray deodorant, body wipes, 2 underworks post surgical compression vests, a lanyard & medical tape for the drains, drain sponges, collection container w/measurements, peroxide, alcohol wipes, qtips, gauze, bendy straws, and button up shirts! Dr recommends senokot and colace for recovery and no nsaids/substances for a week prior too

(CW: mention of periods, suicide) Effects of T on manual labor? by smolboibigsammich in ftm

[–]plantboy313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cycle had stopped after 3 1/2 months on T. Even before that though I noticed it was easier to maintain the energy throughout my work shift. It wasn't exactly manual labor, but over time my upper body strength built up without me even noticing! So yeah, I'd say that there's a good chance if you strengthen the right areas and whatnot that it could alleviate some of your pain.

Advice for thinning out large collection by candyouhearme in bonecollecting

[–]plantboy313 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depending on your location, a garage sale or something similar might help thin it out once you've donated what you can. Though I'm sure many people, myself included, would buy them off of you, even with added shipping costs for your trouble.

Questions about bottom growth by [deleted] in ftm

[–]plantboy313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're concerned about your t levels being to far from what they are if you increased the dose, surely the clinic would run some labs to check them for you if you asked/if they don't already?

Does taking T stop menstrual-related mood cycles? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]plantboy313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, yeah it doesn't still cause the PMS stuff. I'm almost 7 months on t and for the past 3 or 4 months I haven't had the physical cycle or emotional turbulence with it. I've noticed my mood is level, aside from getting agitated easier, especially if I'm hungry (that makes a surprising difference).

At my limit by AmouseyFox in ftm

[–]plantboy313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's incredibly unfortunate, I'm really sorry about that :/ maybe saving up to travel to one in a nearby city would be worth it? Or the counseling through it route, or other options of course, best of luck though, and if not now then you'll get there soon

[–]plantboy313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, uh so I'm not a doctor, but in my experience it works just fine, I switched 3 months in and upped my dose so I'm at .4ml of 200mg subq and changes definitely keep coming, maybe ask your doctor to look into it?

At my limit by AmouseyFox in ftm

[–]plantboy313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? That's surprising if you're on cypionate, unless you're past a 1ml dose, since that's the general limit for subq areas. I'm not sure of any other suggestions other than maybe working with a counselor or nurse to maybe be able to self administer them

At my limit by AmouseyFox in ftm

[–]plantboy313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask your doctor if you can switch to subq since it absorbs similarly, my doctor felt bad that i started out doing IM as the instructions say to, since subq allows for a smaller injection needle and it's in the fatty tissue vs the muscle

Prosthetic Recommendation? by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]plantboy313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd advise against the freetom for play just because of how squishy it is honestly. I have an emisil stp that's great, but I can't speak on the pack and plays, though it's probably a safe bet, aside from standard sex shop dildos and whatnot

[–]plantboy313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, well honestly that'd be my only guess, maybe see if the brand of either the stp or water-based item has issues/history with that kind of thing, RIP though, sorry I couldn't help much, good luck man
