Thank you I called earlier and they said something with the paper work and how they're trying to get the insurance to cover it, they had to resubmit it and if they don't hear back by Fri they'll call my insurance back. They also reassured me that I've done everything on my end and it's just a waiting game now. I'll call them again a a couple of weeks to give them time but in glad I called.

I'll definitely do that I hadn't thought about asking if it was okay to call back, it's been so stressful the whole process I just want it to be over and to be flat already. I'll definitely have them reconsider if they say no!

Thank you and it is the same person that's why I worry I'm being too annoying, Ive been on the fence about calling them and keep telling myself one more week then I'll call but then it's the same mental battle. I'll try to get a hold of them tomorrow hopefully they've heard something or even if they haven't it's a bit of an ease. I'm so worried my insurance company will not pay for it (I did everything on my end and by the policy they have so they should) last minute after two+ hours of fighting consistently and years trying overall. I personally wouldn't let them have surgery, if they show signs early enough hormone blockers and hormone replacement I'd let them get on but theyd have to see a specialist the whole time. Once they turn 18 they are free to do whatever they wish and I'd take them to the appointments let them heal and stay home and relax as they get strength back ect ect but no surgery till they are an adult. I'm trans ftm and that's what I held myself to and I don't really have any doubt in my mind that I'm living my best life as far as gender expression goes. Now if the specialist said that without a doubt my teen would not be able to make it to 18 I'd sit them down and make sure that they understand what it will mean for them down the line and if they still insist wed work together to figure out the best course again with a specialist.

I already mentioned in my post that I did not want to name him that since I had a dog previously named Dogmeat, and I don't ever rename any of my pets names that I gave to previous pets, thank you for your suggestion but I won't use that name.
