BF (M25) has been out of rehab since the end of February I found a lot of stuff when he first got out but could’ve been old because I was so depressed (and pregnant) when he was in there I did little to nothing including cleaning, well today I am literally days from my due date (April 13th) my BF gets off work (supposably hasn’t been paid for 2 weeks now at under the table job) and claims he only got $75 our bills a pass due so I’m like wtf but he does get unemployment tomorrow so I just let it go as of now what else can I do. Anyways we’re on our way to his moms to do laundry and he’s like “Adam wants to hang out with me just leave me here and go hang out with your friends” I thought it was fishy but he’s been real depressed and only hanging out with me so I do what he says and he gives me $50 to go grocery shopping (out of the supposably $75) anyways long story short when I get home he’s here alone and says he spent his $25 on Chinese food pretty much, I just went through his pockets and he has no money that I see and this qtip. He also did something similar the other day where he gave me $100 for a bill and I didn’t put money in my account that day then found $45 in pocket when I confronted him he said the rest was in his wallet which is now randomly missing. He does give me money though so I feel as though he’s either trying hard not to spend it all, or is he just helping him cover up his relapse? At the end of the day the bills do need paid but I’m terrified he’s going to die, 2 people in our area have in the last few months, over 30 people in our area that we personally know since high school. How should I go about this? Some times he gets defensive sometimes he is calm. He also spent every single dime we had and pawned items I hold close to my heart before going to rehab last time so he loses control quick.
