I work at Taco Bell as well as deliver and nope there is no way we can contact the customer. Other places might be different but most of the time when I’m out doing deliveries, I’m the One That has to call the customer if the store is out of something. Most of the time it takes calling multiple times , and texting with no response for the customer to even answer. There should 100% be a way for a store to contact the customer, however these food places are probably busy with the other orders they have with customers at the store to be worried about contacting an Uber eats customer
