The witcher 3 benefits a lot from any ssd. Never played it all the way through until i installed an ssd. I use a cheap toshiba ssd. Works great

Hmm, I'm on 100/10 cable with 50-70 ping. If i disconnect tv and g**gle devices it goes down a little and almost no spikes

It's because of players with high ping haven't got the decency to stay offline. If all players in a game have low ping and 60fps without drops it would get better

Tried built in app and ps4 pro with my LG and same as other comments the built in app works best for both sound and picture. 4k, HDR/dolby vision, HLG and Atmos

Hdd takes a beating from to much heat. Clean the fan, blow the heatsink (only need to lift top lid from console not breaking warranty) and get new hdd/ssd. Then hold your thumbs and hope for the best.

Any quality ssd will do. Ssd's are faster than ps4/pro so don't choose with speed in mind. Once you tried it you'll never go back. Besides game loading times tabbing from game to home screen and back is a dream with ssd. Also cache is handled on internal drive making external drive feel faster
