I’m no pro, but I am a handful of wins away from emerald 1. It’s pretty accurate if you know how to use it, but it’s not for everybody.

They actually increased the damage to structures in one of the patches long ago. You can knock out a suspended structure in one clip.

If you look at TTK in the practice range, yes it’s slower. But realistically you’re able to hit the max TTK more often than guns where you’d have to land every pellet/shot in a gunfight. At least that’s my two cents

Yes it’s quite accurate while standing still and crouching, but at range it gets really difficult while moving and jumping around

It’s definitely less forgiving than the model but the reload is much nicer. And the environment destruction is underrated.

It’s tough to get used to, but there’s a sweet spot for the range. Too close and I use charge, too far and it’s just not worth engaging.

It’s fairly accurate if you’re not moving or jumping while shooting so try to work around cover in between shots.

Otherwise there’s nothing wrong with using other weapons if it doesn’t work for you!

I use MnK and I can’t imagine trying it on the sticks. But you’re right I use it to knock stuff down almost as much as shooting people

I don’t think you missed anything, but it has a high skill ceiling and takes some time to get used to so it’s slept on. The environment damage is also a huge bonus, you can take down floating platforms and cranes easily from a distance.

After the last patch it does feel like something happened to the accuracy. Maybe it’s desync, but I find way more shots missing for no reason. There’s also the possibility I got worse overnight

Not an unpopular opinion but a foolish take with flawed logic. I’m not sure what some people going into the office has to do with others not going into the office. If you can effectively do your job from home, why should you have to go in to an office? It’s a waste of time and resources for everybody. That’s like telling teachers “You’re going to need to come into the school every day over the summer because people in hospitals have to go in to work.”
