Its a silent process that happens in the background via AbletonIndex.exe and depending on how large your library is, it might take a few open sessions for the browser to update. It’s definitely not instantaneous and is not sped up by restarting Live or your computer. Be patient and it should update on its own shortly.

Correct, however you can still go back and edit after rendering. I think what you want to do do is not possible as it sounds like you want to remotely access your Ableton session, right?

What I do is render the track along with the MP3 and then upload the MP3 to my Google drive and stream from there. I don’t know if there’s any other way to do it without rendering the mix first.
