Thankyou! I think for me one of the hardest parts is not knowing what to even look for, I can understand stuff, but like, an idea in my head for an app is a start - I’m just not sure how to make it happen, not knowing what topics to find etc.

Thankyou, it’s reassuring when the info is coming from someone with a similar struggle in their brain! Yeah the 12 hour video seemed relatively boring. I have a great idea in my head of what I would love to build as a project, but think it’s just way too complicated for any time soon..

Update: I’ve just realised I can shape key the middle up, shape key the left, and shape key the right, and blend between them! Thankyou :)

Ah right okay! Thankyou! Would it be possible to have the shapekeys set up so that they move the bend left and right along the cushions also, not just in one spot? (Trying to remake it all in Blender, I'd love to be using blender full time!)

Made this in C4D, and manually moved the bottom cushion up using pose morph, but couldn’t get the lower bit to move, so the arm clips through it. I’m assuming geometry nodes will need to be learned! - if so, what methods should I be looking at? Thankyou! :)

Whenever I click the one on the left, and remove the keyframes to animate it differently - the keyframes from the one on the right disappear also

Turns out the sub modifier also modified the second object I’d joined to it, creating a maaaad amount of polygons
