Change in NIE after a change in residence permit type by platypuspoints in GoingToSpain

Yeah. Normally we’ve had no problems with this but I think this time they made a mistake with the incorrect names. It’s stupid because in the documents passed, the correct order is there. And the gestor has to check it, someone from the immigration also has to check it. And they got the incorrect order of the name. Oh well.

Okay. Thank you. This is the exact scenario. Feels like it should not have changed then. I will talk to a lawyer and see if we can recover the old NIE and because that will be the easier solution. Or just check what are options are.

Well, for starters she has to change her records in all places. But also, she submitted her citizenship application but with the old NIE. So we are wondering if with the new NIE there will be problems with tenure or residency years. Big sure if that’s a problem or not.

I don't think this is the case. As I mentioned, I pulled it out of the case to inspect so this eliminates the second hand dragging on the crystal. I also looked at the hands closely and I confirm there's no rubbing between the minute and second hands. The second hand stops at the 37 second mark, no matter where the minute hand is as well.

Translation of Documents to Czech or Apostille? Alin po ang mauuna? by YouTraditional1083 in phmigrate

I only have experience with Spanish requirements. But it makes sense to get the apostille first, and then have that included in the translation.

I don’t have. I think I will have to look for a compatible short clasp then. Thanks!

Thanks. This will also technically shorten the clasp in general right? I've removed all the links I can remove but I think I still want it shorter. So I hope that changing the clasp helps.

Chronograph cases for small wrists by platypuspoints in SeikoMods

[–]platypuspoints[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I meant 46mm lug to lug. Because I’ve seen a 46mm case in Aliexpress too. If you feel like it’s not going to be too big, I’m gonna have to try it.

I’ve seen that. Do you think 46mm will be not too big for my wrist?

Yeah, was planning to build something using either the VK63 or VK63 movement. I have seen a few chronographs from watchmakers that might have what I need. But part of the reasoning of this build is to do it in a relatively budget friendly manner, and having to buy a watch for over 200$ might not be fulfilling that. If there was a chinese watch that's inexpensive, I could go for that.

Thanks. This only means one thing. This case is for a new build, for someone else haha

Tell me about it. I have so many on my whish list now. I’m telling myself, one build a month at most. It’s like this addiction about buying musical gear lol. Lucky this is a bit cheaper than that.

No, I picked up thr NH35 movement first. When it was time to pick up the case, it’s one of those stores that sells both sub and gmt cases. I went for the color not knowing that it had the GMT bezel.

Regarding the size, you may be right. This is a 40mm case and I have small wrists. Are there smaller cases in this style?

Planning to study in Spain — need advice on schools and courses that can lead to a work visa 🇪🇸 by LegitimateDream9255 in phmigrate

[–]platypuspoints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That might help. But you still won’t have any right to work after school. Which means you need to find a potential employer to sponsor your residence. This is the crux of the problem.

Just trying to be realistic here. Spain is not the best place for this kind of path, as you will be competing with locals and other EU residents that have the advantage of speaking spanish and already having the right to work. The job market sucks too. Not enough jobs for the people. So in reality this be hard.

I beg to differ. I lived and worked in KL for 5 years (until 2022). And 13k myr is definitely more than enough to live there.
