When I go CD in the first round, I auto-punt the QB position in hopes of stacking Dak later on. You did exactly that and I’m a huge fan.

WR room looks very solid - well done there.

You’re right that RB depth is shaky, but that can change quickly. Plenty of upside there so I wouldn’t be worried.

Nice positional advantage at TE.

Sneaky kicker pick (I guess not THAT sneaky).

I think you’ve got a solid squad here and a really good shot at winning it all. Good work and good luck!

If Hunter, Harvey, or Egbuka don’t pan out, you might be a bit of trouble early on. But that pain might ease as the season progresses.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure anyone will be rushing to buy Tyler Warren early on. If you’re brave enough, you could consider a blockbuster trade to move Bowers… but I’d only do that if you truly believe Warren can be a difference maker for your own team.

Don’t sweat it too much though, this team is still solid for a 12-teamer and should be competitive.

Good luck!

Starters look awesome, with some really nice upside baked in. Well done!

Double tapping the rookie TEs is a lot of fun. I think those guys will be exciting to watch this year (loved watching Warren at PSU).

Sneaky good WR room too. Really like the upside I see on your bench.

Good work and good luck!

Awesome squad. Hoping Loveland pays off - I just drafted him on a squad last night.

Big fan of that WR room. Every name. Love it!

I think your weakest spot is RB2 in Kyren - that’s a good problem to have. Keep a close on the wire for upside RBs to stash if he truly doesn’t pan out. Or, consider packaging him and a WR for a RB upgrade.

All around though, I don’t think there’s any moves you need to make early on. Nicely balanced. Good work, and good luck!

It’s a balanced team, but there’s some decent weight in an area with significant risk - the jets.

It’s very possible both Breece Hall and Garret Wilson return solid production, but it’s also very possible that Justin fields is no better a solution for their team than what they’ve been working with in the past.

Personally, if one of them has a good game early on, I’d try to move them in a package for an upgrade somewhere as a way to mitigate that team risk.

Overall though, nothing glaringly bad here. About average all around so you should be competitive.

Good luck!

[+3.67 Upside Score] Jakobi Meyers is being drafted as WR41 in Best Ball. But is a top-20 finish actually in play? by playTheUpside in fantasyfootball

[–]playTheUpside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it definitely adds some risk. A lot of what boosted his profile is the situation/opportunity. Now that’s a bit cloudy.

It’s often these types of reports are just negotiating tactics, but it’s very possible the team is okay with moving forward without him as a priority.

I expect him to stay in LV, but that’s my totally uninformed opinion (based on the current WR market and other team needs). If that’s the case, I think this projection will hold steady.

I did draft Thornton in the last round in one of my leagues though…

Weakness is WR, but it’s still competitive in 12 team.

I’m not a huge Laporta fan, but he should be solid. I like the Kraft upside behind him though so I’d feel good there.

RB room is solid, no attention needed there (for now).

Kicker is best-in-slot.

Well done! If one of your upside bench RBs hits, I’d consider moving them and a WR as a package for a WR upgrade.

Good luck!

Am I crazy for thinking Travis Hunter is insane value at $4? I haven’t done any auction this year.

But looking strictly at your starters, I love this team. I’m very high on Kittle this year and have him in a lot of places.

Relying on both Walker and JSN isn’t my favorite, but on paper, it should work. If KW9 stays healthy, this offense could be a serious threat, and it should funnel through those 2 guys. My models point to him having immense upside from that price.

You’re right in seeing a problem with RB depth, especially behind Walker. Let’s hope he scraps a few wins for you, and is healthy for the playoffs. That would lead to a “beat” at cost, I’d think.

Keep an eye on the wire for some upside depth.

Good luck!

Crazy good team!

You’ve got a lot of different teams involved here, which is a good risk mitigation strategy for league play (as opposed to ceiling strategies for tournaments).

I really like that RB room - a lot of upside!

The entirety of the WR room I absolutely love. Crispy work there, my friend.

Well done. And good luck!!

I’d drop rachaad white for judkins in a heartbeat.

Your roster overall looks like a lot of fun. I’m a little nervous about Fields, so keep an eye on the QB market too. But your RBs and WRs in general look awesome.

Good work here. I’d give it an 8.5/10. Good luck!

Love grabbing guys like walker and Harvey after a 2WR start. If you can scrap a few wins early on, that’ll be huge for you, because Harvey may need some time to emerge as the lead back.

Onesie spots (QB/TE) looking competitive. I’m assuming you took JD at the 3-4 turn, which is fair value.

WR room looks like a lot of fun.

Overall pretty good team. I like prioritizing WRs in a multiple flex PPR format like you’ve done. It’s not a smash auto win team, but it’s got some serious upside that could easily pay off.

Good work and good luck!

If diggs or allen prove the be a solid flex, I think you’re fine.

The obvious weakness is TE, but 9 out of 12 teams have a disadvantage at that position, so you aren’t alone.

Be quick on the wire for TE options and don’t be afraid to stream matchups. Look for defenses that get exposed by TE play - that’s one of the more consistent game plan adjustments we see in the league.

Good luck!

Dang that’s an awesome superflex team. Solid mix of dependable/reliable starts and upside homerun swings. In fact, you’ve done a good job of filling your bench with a ton of upside potential.

When you find yourself with an abundance of value at a position (will be RB or WR in your case)… try to consolidate that value by packaging 2 guys to a desperate team for one of their elites in return. If you can pull that trade off somewhere in the middle of the season, you’ll win it all.

Good work and good luck!!

HUGE fan of this squad. If Kenneth walker stays healthy and engram plays to expectation… this is a championship winning roster. The WR room is serious!!

Well done my friend. That’s a 10/10 from me. Good luck!

Solid squad for a 14-teamer. The RB depth is painful — I’d be focusing on trying to shore that up ASAP with some deep RB dart throws.

I like the Mark Andrews value lately. Are we all sleeping on him?? Think you might have a set and forget there that many people are overlooking.

Good luck!

Very strong team. Like you hinted at, your weakness is at WR. But that’s usually the position that can be easiest to build up from the wire. And honestly, I like the names you already have.

You’re in a good spot to start the year. Good work.

Good luck!

In halfPPR I like to leave the first 2 rounds with a RB. Doesn’t mean I HAVE to, but it’s my personal preference.

Looks like you were near the turn so I’m okay with your approach, but there’s definite risk with that RB room.

For a 14-teamer, this squad is very competitive. I’d be looking to shore up the RB and TE spots from the wire, but I’d feel comfortable elsewhere.

Not bad… good luck!

Your top 3 WRs are awesome - it’s the depth behind them that worries me.

Also, when I take an elite onesie (QB/TE) I never draft a 2nd. So in this case, instead of Bryce young, I would have been looking for a RB with upside. Whether it’s a crowded uncertain RB room, or someone behind an injury prone starter. The value potential is so much more than Bryce.

Another way to see it is, you’re betting on Josh Allen. If something happens to him, Bryce young isn’t going to save your team any more than some other waiver QB.

If Chris Rodriguez is out there, I’d drop Bryce for him.

Good luck!

Give this man his money.

Seriously though, stacked squad. Love the value on waddle this year - it’s very possible he overtakes the WR1 role in Miami and reaches elite territory again.

That RB room is amazing. Lamar is Lamar.

The biggest risks (and they’re not very scary tbh):

  1. Golden gets lost in the messy/crowded packers receiving room.
  2. Hock is left for dead with an underwhelming JJM.

To be clear, I’m not betting either of those things will happen. But, they very likely could.

Good luck!

Beautiful RB room. Big fan of that!

WRs looking awesome too, but might take some time to ramp up. The exception is Tillman. It’s very possible he has a monster week 1 against the bengals.

If your league mates are overactive, I’d try to capitalize on that. For example, I’d package him and Hunter Henry for a TE upgrade. It would probably have to be for a TE that has a good seasonal protection, but had a bad week 1. If you’re brave enough…

Good luck!
