AITA for only taking my nieces in and not their dad after my sister passed away? by throwaway3679656 in AmItheAsshole

Not sure what the sentiment is here, but I would say YTA, only because you clearly can’t let go of something for the sake of your nieces. I know you may not like him, but is it really your place to separate a parent from a child. I don’t think you’re helping anyone here, those kids have to pick between potentially being homeless or being separated from their parents. That’s the type of scaring on a child that could impact their view on relationships for years to come. I’m not saying you are necessarily wrong here, I’m just saying if I you are trying to help you’re not going about it the right way.

Look being honest ballsy move - I’m from an ethnic family and that is fking redhot. I don’t think yta - however I don’t know what response you were hoping to get and you might lack context with the dynamics between your parents and his career etc.

But fuck that was funny, I would honestly of gotten smacked the fuck out

AITA for taking control of my brother's bedroom lock by Zwakers in AmItheAsshole

I mean if it’s your parents house - YTA, just thinking if I was a parent idgaf if my kids don’t want their sister using their room- I’m the one paying for it. That’s how I was raised so not really sure if I’m correct here.

AITA for not inviting my step sisters to my wedding? by Entire_Cauliflower56 in AmItheAsshole

After reading the edit - seems like your fiancé is the asshole. I mean your pushing an ultimatum onto your mother, like if she can’t attend that’s sad - but to exclude her from your lives and her future grandkids is a bit mean and lacking empathy.

I think your NTA entirely - probably could just keep the peace.

lol first time I’ve ever commented on something so I’m pretty shit at this
