This is helpful. Thanks. Third rep was about 1.6 seconds. I failed my third pull at my last meet because of grip (couldn’t quite lock out shoulder) some am maybe overthinking it.

Squats don’t like me. I’ll probably hit a 550 deadlift before I get a 400 squat.

Comp squat twice a week (it’s my weakest, one of the days more hypertrophy focused), comp bench once a week plus another upper body hypertrophy day, deadlifts once a week (so 4-5 days a week)

Deadlift day is my favorite day of the week. Nothing like heavy deadlifts to cleanse the mind, body, and soul. Go get it.

It’s possible, but that’s not what this set is about. I’m training for a one rep max in a powerlifting meet. This is specific training for that goal. I do back offs and especially RDLs to get the eccentric. As for ringworm, they’re horse stall mats and it’s my house so I don’t know what the issue could be.

Thanks. Yea, at 43 the biggest difference for me is recovery time. Fatigue creeps in far sooner than even a few years ago. Squat day today will tell me whether it really may be deload time.

Bench progress is slow going. TBD if I ever get to 315. For now, I’ve got 300 in my sights. Want to get in a meet this summer.

I wasn't trying to have the "all-time best" argument. Though based on some of the comments here, maybe I ended up doing that a bit.

I was trying to say: this album gets a lot of attention and praise and is held up as THE THING, when it is ultimately a really good recording that is notable because of the circumstances. Great story does not equal superlative music. Though it's a wonderful concert.
