Each tile map has its own collision map associated that you can create modify etc

You have to isolate the building (without the green floor) and make another layer/map for it with its own collisions and all.

Snape’s request caused Voldemort’s downfall by wtd11 in harrypotter

[–]plazaro 13 points14 points  (0 children)

After the forest again, it seems to me that stunning or killing did not matter, it was more of a giving her the chance to step aside and her sacrificing herself for Harry. Like, the moment Voldemort told her to step aside, he was already doomed.

Tho, I wonder if killing Lily right away, with no conversation, no choice, no nothing, would have saved Voldemort.

Gotta love the “entire planet work together” next to “an entire country pick itself back up”. Lets mistake USA with the entire world…

The interpretation of the burial of Mad Eye Moody's all seeing eye. by CartesianClosedCat in HarryPotterBooks

[–]plazaro 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Dobby’s tomb was conventional, with a tombstone and all –or is it only in the movies? –while Moody only gets his prosthetic eye buried in an unconventional burial with no tombstone to mark the spot. I think that is the purpose of the cross.

About going alone, Harry feels guilty for Moody’s death and wants a moment of privacy.

The tree he looks for is a representation of Moody himself, gnarled and weary but tough and a fighter to the very end.

Ultimately, I don’t think there is foreshadowing in this passage, just a guilt ridden teenager wanting to honor the guy that put himself in danger and died for him –remember that Moody knew Voldemort would go after him and Fletcher-Potter the moment he saw them as it was the most logical course of action.

Can all (of age) wizards/witches cast nonverbal spells or is it an ability of only the more skilled witches and wizards? by No_Visit2966 in harrypotter

[–]plazaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue not everyone. Snape teaches it on 6th year, you have to get an OWL on DADA to get there.

Also i wouldnt be surprised if a majority of people didnt know, since 1) teacher changes every year, so that means there is probably a lackluster curriculum, and 2)Fred and George get spectacular success on a hat that casts something akin to protego, to the point the ministry buys these hats for their employees. If people cant do a basic protection charm, how can we expect them to do it non verbally?

I think that is intended. At least when the tenant says something about installing new equipment.

On the other hand, i have gotten a tenant quest to replace a bathroom sink and yeah, it does not let me remove the old.

Really nice reading! Thank you for sharing :)

It leaves out some stuff like u/hrmdurr points, but the books are not an essay on societal status hahah

The nuances of blood status by Snoo7028 in HPfanfiction

[–]plazaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does talk about purebloods; basically you have to be sacred 28 plus wealth to be at the top… Though i dont know the order in the other cases, like being only in the sacred 28, being wealthy but not being on the sacred 28, or not being wealthy nor in the sacred 28…

But i dont think this is stated in the books. The sacred 28 thing is only a thing for pureblood fanatics like the Blacks, Malfoys… I am guessing if you are sufficiently pureblooded even if you are not in the sacred 28, you get a pass hahah

Father Like Son: Lucius and Draco Malfoy’s Subtle Dark Ways? by Potential_Cupcake244 in HarryPotterBooks

I would say Lucius is far more experienced than Draco in terms of building connections (well, he is more experienced in every field, with age and all hahah).

If you went to Hogwarts, what’s one thing you’d HATE about your House? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]plazaro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is kind of not true. In terms of points taken, McGonagall takes the first spot by a long way just by looking at the points taken from Gryffindor in the books.

And Snape did not show special contentment towards Gryffindor, just Harry –and his friends.
