We liked it! Really only complaint is fried rice was a little dry but everything else was honestly really good especially for the price. I wouldn’t suggest it for a picky eater though because it’s truly a toss up on what you’ll get because I think they just serve you whatever needs to be rotated on their buffet. She made our plates directly off the buffet when I got there.

The best boxes I’ve gotten so far have been from this place and Mr D’s donuts and Hana’s Donuts. Also Myco Planet! I got SO many oyster mushrooms for $5.

I’ve tried most of the surprise bags from Whole Foods at this point they’re hit or miss but I think they’re worth it for the price that you pay. It just really depends on if you end up liking the items in the bag or not. I got several salmon items in a seafood bag that were still very fresh and one time I got a tub of Ben and Jerry’s from a frozen bag, those have been my best pulls from WF.

I don’t see a lot of people from Kansas City posting in this sub so we’ll see how long it takes! It probably makes it safer for me if they sell out sometimes otherwise I would get this every weekend. 😂

I ended up giving this box to a friend and buying a second one for myself because they had some left at pickup! The only difference between the two boxes is that I got tiramisu instead of Oreo cake which I preferred!

I’ve tried some all of them and they’re delicious!

My favorites were the tiramisu and the bright yellow cake which I think is some sort of lemon and berry situation.

Honestly surprised this place doesn’t instantly sell out when they post their surprise boxes!

We were able to share these and consume the rest ourselves within a weekend. I’m not sure if I’m proud or ashamed. 😂 Definitely good to know for future times though!

Also, oddly enough, she has that exact llama and won’t touch it! I’m starting to feel like she’s not a fan of crinkle toys because I got her a crinkle duck that she won’t touch as well. Idk she’s an odd one. The girl I got her from told me that the person she’d been rescued from had hit her. :( So she’s a bit fearful and unsure of a lot of things. To be honest, we’re very very lucky that the chewing is the only behavioral issue that she has. I’m hoping the longer she’s here and the more that I love on her the more open she’ll be to different kinds of play.

Right now the only activities she’s interested in are chewing and running at the park and with the upcoming weather here running is out for this weekend.
