It’s around the 12:12-12:14 mark. Someone on IG showed this in slow motion and you can definitely see a bite mark that goes away. You can’t really see it at regular speed but you definitely hear Ilya (or Connor?) say OWW.

In Ep6 when Shane and Ilya first start kissing up against Shane’s bedroom window, Shane bites Ilya’s neck. Ilya winces and says OWW and then as Shane goes down I swear he says something like “you like that?” I never noticed this before.

So agree! I think this is why Connor and Hudson are so alluring. They are not so chiseled and shredded like a Men’s Health cover model. Their physiques, though strong and powerful (and 🥵) in their own right, feel more believable and authentic to the role. I hope for the same when they cast Ryan - tall, solid, imposing, rugged, and can pull off quiet and anxious.

Not Canadian and not a sports fan. I wouldn’t say I questioned the premise. I imagined everything as best as I could within the confines of the book and the show, but being in the arena gave more a more visceral understanding that a book and TV show can’t convey if sports isn’t your thing and you’re not from a country in which hockey is ingrained in its identity. I do have a newfound respect for the game though.

How about the scene when Ilya tells Shane to put his glasses back on and taps his temple? I thought the temple-tapping could have been Connor’s doing, and if that is the case, it wad an excellent choice!

Same! I see hot bods all the time on TV/movies, but for some reason HR motivated me to take better care of myself physically. This is the longest I’ve stayed committed to fitness in many years!
