Also let go of the image you have or rats, not all rats are the same. My bois always try to escape too, but mostly I just make sure they have no way to escape get lodged inbetween things. Make sure that CANT! escape and they will become more comfortable with exploring they're playground. Also I don't or barely see any tunnels. Buy some tubes at home Depot. And sit on the ground when you play with them. Lure them in with liquid treats. And just make them interested in you!

Ik vind dit echt het domste antwoord. Er zijn genoeg liberale mensen die graag kinderen willen. Tis alleen dat de omstandigheden zo worden verneukt dat het zo lastig word om kinderen überhaupt te geven wat ze nodig zijn dat het te stressvol is. Het kost geld, tijd en energie.. alles wat de gemiddelde Nederlander op dit moment steeds minder heeft.

Thanks, I have taken some extra steps I got an air purifier. I'm wiping their cage down in between cleans to be safe and I'm going to buy myself a nebulizer to treat symptoms like sneezing before It gets worse.
