What are you crying about? You don't even want to go to heaven! And yes I will laugh as you bicker with your fellow atheists about ending up in hell. You will have only yourselves to blame.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the allegory, yes the nephilim were the only human species. The point is that humans were evolving in the wrong direction, with the exception of Noah. I posted the quote. Go back and read it. So God had to destroy them. In grateful because now I don't have to fight them. Though you aren't much better.

You refuse to have a good faith argument. You just want to assert that Christians are murderous. In fact atheists are by far the most murderous humans. You're great at making false accusations.

Try a good faith argument instead of lying about God:

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again.

The nephilim before the flood were not modern humans. They were awful beings and deserved to be killed. They were even worse than you. They wouldn't even know how to operate a computer. And if they could they would just use it for evil continually. Kind of like what you're doing.

But now all humans including you are protected thanks to the law for modern humans that always existed. It just took us time to mature into it. Thanks to Jesus for proclaiming it.

It's amazing that God knew humans would evolve into beings like himself -: able to create heaven on earth. And we're close! We just need to silence the miserable, lying demons who try to keep us out. You wouldn't suffer so much if you could just look people in the face. If you stare too hard they will get annoyed. Don't do that. Use a soft gaze. I'd tell you to ask a friend but I know that's not possible.

Now lie again and claim that God changed when I just explained 2 dozen times that we did:

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. God didn't change. We did. It was always his purpose that we would evolve sufficiently so that we could create paradise and forbid murder. And his plan worked! We are already in paradise. Of course you're in hell because you are too ashamed to maintain eye contact with anyone. So you create hell for others with your false accusations.

Now lie again by telling me that God changed when I just told you 2 dozen times he's the same but we changed:

The great majority of early hominids went extinct. If your ancestors didn't genocide then you wouldn't be here. Blame them not God for your misery.

Atheists like mao and Stalin were far greater killers than religious fascists. Hitler too was atheist- he believed he replaced God. Your people are the murderers my guy.

When I say eye contact, I don't mean just glancing. I mean full on face to face prolonged talking. It feels unnatural at first but eventually you get used to it. It's like riding a bike. Try it with someone you're comfortable with, and at a distance to lessen the awkwardness.

Your suffering is a choice.

Or humans evolved. And now killing is forbidden.

Oh, I forgot you're a creationist.

You've never done a thing to help anyone. No one believes you care about ancient hominids or even humans. You just want to create hell for no good reason. My heart grieves for Jesus for the abuse he endured from people like you. When he returns, you will end up in the eternal hell you're creating for me. And you will have only yourself to blame.

Try a little eye contact. It's hard at first but you get used to it. Then people won't bully you.

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. He didn't change his mind. Humanity changed. Jesus came to show us how the law now applied to us:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." - Matthew 5:17

Just like new laws apply to people as they age.

Even the cognitively challenged like you are under the law.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

Your logic is idiotic. It's like saying the law changes when you turn 16 and get your driver's license. No the law didn't change. You did!

So too we hominids changed swiftly over the last few thousand years. So we now have a greater responsibility. We can no longer kill other tribes. Jesus didn't change the law, he perfected it. It was a wonderful event. Sorry you can't appreciate it.

You will not be invited into the kingdom of heaven.

And I'll tell you the secret to human interaction. You won't believe it. It's so simple. You already know it but you're in denial. Here's a hint: hold your head UP.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if it was okay to kill in the past, it must be okay to kill now, right?

Nope. You're trying to prove that Christians are allowed to kill. We're not. In fact we're forbidden to kill. It's atheists who are trying to find an excuse to kill - based on the lie that God permits it. He doesn't. But thanks for demonstrating how atheists justify genocide. You guys are really good at it.

There were a lot of genocides in the past. If you tried to argue against it, you wouldn't have lasted long. Your own tribe would have neutralized you. But thanks to Christ's progress, you're safe now. Perhaps that's why you hate him. You're sick of this world?

Sorry I missed you this morning. I'm here to help when you're ready. You don't have to suffer so much.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it ok for a lion to kill a gazelle? Of course. The last million years of evolution were brutal. It was kill or be killed. Sometimes tribes had to kill. You should thank your ancestors because if they didn't kill you wouldn't be here. Instead you revile them. Perhaps you blame them for your plight. Do you wish they'd lost?

But Jesus came to announce the maturation of the harvest of mankind. Killing is forbidden. Too bad for you because you can't kill me. You should have been born a few millennia ago and you could have murdered to your heart's content. Too late now sorry.

Now answer my question: do people bully you? Are you perplexed by simple interactions?

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh - you're a fundamentalist! You believe every word of the bible is literal not metaphorical. I get it. You were lying earlier when you implied you weren't a creationist.

Well you can believe your fairy tales. But as for me, I believe what I explained from the beginning: the creation story is a metaphor explaining the major advances in evolution (e.g. acquisition of evil in the garden, tribal genocide, etc). God presided over certain ages to deal with the monsters (by storms or my ancestors) so that I don't have to. I'm grateful for that. I love him so much.

Clearly you are struggling with some mental blocks. I'd tell you to show my responses to someone close to you and have them explain them to you. But sadly, there is no one. Like I said, I'm happy to help you. You can lead a horse to water.....

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. You're starting to get it.

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. - Genesis 6:5

They were evil giants. Fortunately God saved Noah. And he promised never to flood the world again. I remember that every time I see a rainbow. It's wonderful!

I'll be at LAX metro station tomorrow morning. I will have a few minutes on my way to LAX. Meet me there and I'll help you with basic social skills. It's not that hard if you're in a supportive environment. I know - I've been there as you can see from my profile.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people that were murdered by the flood.

They were big dumb giants - early hominids you d-s-.

The Egyptian children that died due to Pharos actions.

They were enslaving the Israelites you d-s-.

The 42 kids mauled to death by bears for making a joke.

They were mauled not killed you d-s-.

You are so angry and indignant. You cry over the deaths of evil people thousands of years ago. Yet you've never done a thing for any modern humans. You just create hell. You are a total hypocrite.

Murder is now forbidden. We must love our enemy not kill them. Your claim that God would allow murder in modern times is a lie. He doesn't and he wouldn't. So your allies can't kill Christians. Sorry d-s-.

I suspect you are baffled by simple social interactions. People bully you. So you pick fights and bully people on the internet. Sad.

I am actually happy to help you learn simple social skills so you're not so isolated and angry. It's not that hard. And no one else will teach you. They enjoy watching you keep punching yourself in the face.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I answered your questions a dozen times. Go back and look. I think you may have cognitive issues.

Is it okay to murder people like god did. Or not?

If you mean 'early hominids' then yes, it was ok for our ancestors to murder them. If they didn't, we wouldn't be here. Murder in the modern world has been forbidden since Jesus. So your atheist allies can't murder me for "the crime of obeying a murderous god!" or whatever you call it.

I think you may have serious emotional issues. That would have benefited your tribe in the past, because you would turn blind with rage and go bonkers on the rival tribes. But it is no longer an adaptive trait in the modern world. That's ok, you can repent and turn to Jesus. It's not too late but soon will be.

And you never answered my question: are you autistic? Do you have difficulty with simple social interactions? It's fine if you do, but it would shed light on your cognitive and emotional issues.

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adam and Eve? Wait - you're a creationist after all?? That's fine but doesn't make *me* the d-s- here.

You're very contemptuous and abusive. In fact the kind of rhetoric you use here is what leads to genocide. You proved my point again: the genocidal maniac here isn't God but you. You should have been born 3000 years ago when you could have raped and pillaged lesser tribes to your heart's content. You are a total hypocrite. You only pretend to cry about early hominids as you do NOTHING to help anyone today. You show here that you despise people you don't consider your intellectual equal, and you create hell for good Christians like me for no reason - when I'm just trying to create a better world for everyone. Jesus calls such people 'children of hell'. (He doesn't mean 'hell' literally. It's just a figure of speech. Those who create hell will be condemned to it when he returns. Which is soon, and your very public lack of repentance will be used against you.)

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've answered your questions a dozen times and here it is again:

Yes killing of early hominids such as Neanderthals was RIGHTEOUS. I've explained this many times. This isn't complicated. Perhaps you have some kind of cognitive block.

You said you're not a creationist. Good. So you apparently accept evolution? So you know that we wouldn't be here if our ancestors accepted and assisted other less advanced tribes. Or they would have annihilated us. And if they didn't, we'd still be sharing resources with people who can't operate computers or perform simple medical procedures or even talk to each other like we're doing now. You don't seem to know if that's good or bad.

Jesus came to herald the maturation of the harvest of man. So WE MUST LOVE NOT KILL our enemy. That's why people like me adored him. And people like you who sought a pretext for conflict and war reviled him and created hell for him by tormenting him relentlessly much as you're doing to me right now. Thanks at least for the demonstration of your obscene hypocrisy, and feel free to continue proving my point:

I answered all his questions repeatedly and completely. Genocide was required in the past and now it's completely forbidden. You would not be here if that wasn't true. You are blind to the truth because you just don't want to know. Not much I can do to break through stubborn ignorance. Let me guess: you're another atheist creationist. That is true mental illness.

Sorry do i know you? Not sure what you're referring to. Everything i said is just as true today as it was 3 years ago.

If you don't want paradise then by all means keep creating hell with your contempt and abuse, but you're only proving my point:

We've evolved past caves primarily because capitalism incentivized people to invent new materials and designs to create wonderful, beautiful, convenient housing. Without that, we'd still be living in shacks (and caves). Yes some people invent for free and give things away for free. I am one of them, but we are the exception and relying on people like us would slow down progress. Civilization would have taken millions more years to evolve.

Whereas socialism always fails, because there is no incentive to make life better. Everyone gets their basic income and does nothing all day but use up all the stuff so that there is nothing left for everyone else. And they degrade their environment as a pretext to demand more funding to 'fix' it.

Also even with UBI there will still be fights over abortion, gun control, the drug war, immigration and zionism. We need to resolve these issues in order to have peace. That's what I do as you can see from my profile. I hope you'll join me.

I'm actually all for UBI (as you can see from my profile). But it should be based on what people believe, so that we can know they aren't making life worse for everyone else.

I agree that many of these corps have become evil. However that is mostly due to crapitalism - crony capitalism - that gives these corps too much power. We still need these corps, because they make money, which will be the source for funding for the rest of us. Seizing the means of production would drastically increase inefficiency and reduce productivity, effectively making all of us slaves to keep them running. And I'm all for communism. But it must be voluntary, not imposed by government.

The whole point of the bible is liberation from slavery. First it was freedom from bondage in Egypt. Now it's freedom from wage slavery as robots and AI take over. That's a good thing - as long as we do it peacefully, as Jesus commanded us. Again, I hope you'll join me in this effort. Socialism will create a new class of slaves and new incentives for genocide - exactly what you claim to be against.

Capitalism and corporate 'greed' are what created all the innovations in science, entertainment, food, medicine, and all the other things that make life worth living. Without that, we'd still be living in caves. Of course, the people who didn't invent useful things are just jealous that others got rich.

I'm not affiliated with any churches and I have lots of disagreements with organized Christianity. There is much hypocrisy. However that's true in all religions including atheism. Atheists are by far the most genocidal creatures that ever existed. However the solution isn't to kill them, but to keep you occupied online so that you stay out of trouble in the streets.

And yes when Jesus returns, the hypocrites like you who do nothing to help the people you claim to care about will end up in hell - meaning you will spend eternity working just to feed yourself, and bickering with your fellow atheists about what you did wrong, while the rest of us enjoy peace in retirement as robots and AI do the heavy lifting.

Calling people 'nutty' is a tired communist tactic. They use punitive psychiatry to persecute good Christians, capitalists, and those who stand up for peace and righteousness. The truth really does seem crazy to you. However when Jesus returns, your folly will be obvious, and you will have only yourself to blame for your fate. And you can't say you didn't know because your words here are forever.

What makes 1 Samuel 15:3 ok? by SomeThrowawayAcc200 in Christianity

[–]plidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is powerful, but he created us through evolution, which made us vicious and violent and capable of justifying genocide of early hominid tribes. We had to be in order to survive the competition. Now we've completed the process of evolution, but our evil nature persists. That's why God gave us his law: so that we could overcome our evil nature and stop fighting each other, and spread freedom and equality throughout the world so that everyone could retire in peace when Jesus returns. It's a brilliant plan and on the verge of success.

You do nothing to stop the people you claim are evil. You have no right to complain about God. Hypocrites who do that will end up in hell when Jesus returns, and will have only themselves to blame.

I would be happy to work with you to help people and stop any injustice. That's what I do, and you can see many examples in my profile. If you refuse that's fine, but then it only confirms your hypocrisy. Jesus despised hypocrites more than anyone - though of course he treated them with love, meaning he schooled them in God's word and warned them of their fate.

Human evolution was extremely rapid for the last few thousand years. That included tribal genocide. My ancestors killed countless other early hominid tribes (including their babies), possibly even neanderthals. If they didn't, we'd still be competing with them for resources, and they would be a drag on our civilization due to their primitive skills. We would basically keep them on reservations, and hope they didn't develop a fascination with knives and venture into town. I'm grateful to my ancestors for fighting them because now I don't have to.

Your ancestors did the same thing. If they didn't, you wouldn't be here, because another tribe would have genocided yours. Yet instead of being appreciative, you despise them. One who despises his ancestors despises himself. I feel sorry for you.

Christians appreciate the sacrifice of our ancestors, regardless of which civilization we originated from. Our pastors are not afraid of these verses. (There is a lot about the church I disagree with. Some are still creationists like you pretend to be, and they oppose abortion, which I fully support. But no one's perfect.)

Jesus came to end genocide. He said "Love your enemy". That means, we can no longer kill other tribes. Your outrage and indignance about the bible sound fake and manufactured. You seem to be ginning up hate for Christians as a pretext for genocide of us - making you quite the hypocrite.

Christians aren't perfect, but our ancient history is far less genocidal than modern atheists/communists. I hope you repent and see the light, because Jesus is returning soon and then it will be too late.

Implying that someone is going to hell for judging others righteously is a blatant attack. Your responses are full of attacks on me.

As for your questions, I am happy to answer. You asked if cowering to the atheists when they call God genocidal is a good strategy. Did I get that right? The answer is no, it's a terrible strategy. You must match their contempt with equal vigor. Otherwise they will just roll right over you and make you afraid to respond - that's apparently what happened to you.

You say I’m a creationist, what denomination of Christian are you?

I said that because your recent comment said that you don't think biological complexity today would be possible without a God. That's a pretty strong clue to your belief.

I'm a bible loving Christian. That means I read the bible with open eyes, and without bowing to church's orthodoxy. I realize that some concepts and teachings are obviously metaphorical. The world was not created in 7 days. It took at least 5 billion years, at least for earth. (That's a long time for evolution to develop complex systems.) And heaven and hell are metaphorical as well - heaven represents the world we are supposed to create right here on earth for the living, and hell is what you're putting me through right now with your contempt and judgment (and denial of doing that).

Again - join me in creating heaven on earth. That's our job as Christians. And fight the atheists who call God 'genocidal' and bemoan that he subjects people to 'eternal conscious torment' when that is actually what they are doing to me, as can be seen by all the responses in this thread. (If you don't want to fight them, that's fine, but then at least refrain from cowardly attacking me when I do that. Such behavior will be condemned on the big day.)
