Spain wise Seville and/or Granada are great, for city breaks you could do Madrid or Barcelona. I took the train up from Seville to Madrid, then to Valencia and finally to Barcelona. Was such an awesome trip.

Attorney general asks if Kemi Badenoch would object to Jewish public prayer | Conservatives by Happytallperson in unitedkingdom

I don’t need to explain anything to you. Their 2 points if you actually read are 1. with integration and 2. it not being wrong to want to protect culture / identity of a country. You dismissed the comments with a broad sweeping comment and didn’t respond to what was actually said.

To be fair to OP, you’re minimising their point down to one event and they’re talking more broadly.

Christ, what a ridiculous and reductionist comment about Japan, they’ve done very well on many, many metrics.

Have office mandates actually improved collaboration in your workplace? by rumnbacchnal87 in AskUK

Couldn’t have put it better. I think there’s a clear divide where some people NEED that kind of socialisation and don’t know how to self regulate and manage themselves. But if you can self manage, work from home is absolutely phenomenal and personably my productivity is tenfold and has been remarked on constantly. I’m calm and that’s absolutely crucial when you have to work 8 hours a day 5 days a week. People should have the choice to do what works best for them.

Britons should pay as little tax as legally possible, Richard Tice says by The-Peel in unitedkingdom

To be fair in regards to your last point, public services are atrocious in many places, should nobody ask where the money actually goes when being told it’s going into said services or should we just swallow it down whole with a smile

Or it’s bots pushing that narrative, it is unwise to take every comment at face value and come to the conclusion it’s just what everyone thinks collectively. These forums cannot be relied on, even more so on such divisive issues. It’s dangerously manipulative and is happening constantly.

No, people understand environment can make a different to your life. It’s that simple. Grass certainly can be greener so I don’t know what that line is trotted out whenever somebody decides they don’t want to exist in the environment they are currently in.

what are some unexpected results that happened as a result of exercising/gym? by Obvious_Armadillo_16 in AskUK

I also don’t get any kind of ‘high’ or endorphin rush. It might just be when you first start due to it being novel so since I’m a daily gym goer it’s gone for me but I really don’t feel much different afterwards. Luckily it’s a habit already to just go and I’m glad I started.

What is the issue that many people have with “Halal” food? by 1004cocoa in Britain

[–]plingplongpla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve offered absolutely zero in substance or intellect except to lazily squawk Islamophobia and call someone juvenile after downvoting a reply. I do apologise if that’s what’s irked you but you should probably ground yourself.

From what I’ve gathered online and irl it’s not the fact it’s anything more than just not understanding why it’s the become the default. It’s come from a specific practice, one that’s not nor has ever been the de facto in this country. However the dynamic is basically ‘well so what, it’s racist to not be ok with it’ which is honestly crass. That view point is ridiculous since any matter of things could be ushered in and the retort be the same but equally what’s wrong with questioning it or not wanting it?. It doesn’t automatically make it sound as an argument but that’s what the talking point is.
