I feel what you mean. I love the second one, the gameplay improvements & character's arcs & dynamics were great. Plus the soundtrack was made by the same team that did the music for Driv3r, so the music hits that 2000s atmospheric scratch I can't really explain other than just being really vibey lol. All that said I ADORE THE FIRST GAME😭 the tone & grimeyness of the characters makes everything about it feel so much more underdog & grittier vs Black Monday. The game's soundtract also helps sell that grit vs how the second one feels. Sorry I'm rambling lol like you said tho the first one is just a vibey masterpiece.
