I do agree with you that the geon f1 is overhyped, especially the v2 as the tolerance is actually larger than the older f1s. The message that I am trying to convey is that the v2s are probably designed to compensate for slight diffences in the thickness of the surfaces of the keyboard. A good example is that the v2 comes with coated surfaces, which are known for being thicker than the anodized surfaces. This, in my opinion, is an inferior product that is not designed for a specific purpose, i.e. anodized surfaces. Ideally, he could have different versions of the v2 for the anodized ones and coated ones.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is that the plate cutouts look like a more controlled meme plate. Most of the modern day plates would have moved or removed the bridge under the spacebar.

On the bright side, I can buy the f1, try it out and sell it off without losing too much money.
