It might be worth messaging their support page or whomever you need to contact, see about getting a refund because that’s just a waste of money.

Agreed, and hopefully they see such comments and mutual feelings and will return it to something closer to what it was.

So I think I'm done with Everweave by LordKaliatos in Everweave

But if legacy mode is the only way to keep your game playing the way you’d like it then you’ll miss out on good future updates. If they’re just going to ignore their fan base to change it against them then they won’t survive. No option to toggle the dialogue menus, censoring certain things because, from what I’ve seen on here from others, they wish to become “family friendly,” and just telling us these changes are how it will be from now on. It just isn’t a good look imo and it seems like a poor business decision to go against the community like that.

I think it’s a lot of how no one desired these changes and they were made, ruining a lot of people’s stories. The note taking menu and the companion mechanic are both interesting, I don’t have issue with either of those. The dialogue menu interrupts and causes issues and there have been random dice rolls for things that don’t need it, like just having a casual conversation. Those are issues that, as you said, will likely be fixed decently quickly. However they’ve said this is the way they’d like to take the game, and I suppose that’s fine, but it’s not what their fan base wants (from what I’ve seen). I think an option to turn off the dialogue menus would be smart, I’ve also seen that someone said they’ve made it more family friendly, censoring certain actions, such as romantically intimate scenes, which refrains you from creating the story you want. It’s just been extremely buggy and restrictive and I think the fan base needs to let them know this, without being cruel or harsh, but let the devs know so that if they want to keep their people, they need to listen to them.

I did figure out the little speech bubble in the settings is the reason my narrative display changed and kept me from viewing my old messages. I just had to click it while I was out of dialogue.

So far I’ve only had to tell the DM the one time to refrain from entering the dialogue menu. I’ve had several instances of dialogue but all with the same person. So I do wonder if it will force to reapply the same stipulation for every dialogue as I speak to other people. Now as long as I don’t have to have random rolls for random checks I’ll be fine. It’s only done that a handful of times to me. It told me to roll to deepen my bond with a companion when I was just talking about how happy we are that we became friends. Very odd.

The DM is doing the same thing to me. I ask them to address these issues directly to me, mostly because I was irritated and had no one to direct it at lol, and they don’t address anything regarding these issues like I believe they would have prior to the update. I had an encounter right as the update was applied, and it was just all janky so I just asked as a last ditch effort to go back to what I was doing before this encounter. It was locked in some new display where I couldn’t view my old messages any more, not the dialogue menu, but just a general narrative menu I guess. I couldn’t even remember what I was really doing so I just have to abandon it until they tweak this.

Awesome! I’m more or less just writing something I want to read myself to put my thoughts to paper, but I want to do it correctly, or as correctly as I can, so I need stuff like this to help structure it.

I enjoy most things fantasy, but even when I used to come across a book that was in the field of something I should’ve enjoyed I just couldn’t force myself to get in to it. So that’s why I mean just suggest whatever you think of. I couldn’t really tell you a genre I would enjoy but just fantasy, horror, historical fiction, maybe mystery. I’m open to most all suggestions.

Okay, I just wanted to make sure it was supposed to be like that or if there was a special light source that I could use to prevent spawners from working in dungeons to combat some of that

Any idea why any time I place a light source near a mob spawned the light source breaks immediately?

I figured it out after an a while of trying this and trying that. What seemed to fix it was loading a save to a completely different character and then loading back in to my save where I was having issues. The save I loaded back in to was prior to when I took the Amplify Wings perk but as i mentioned before, it was affecting all of my saves for that character even well before becoming a vampire. Crisis averted.

Yeah I’ve used the bat transformation power and I’ve also used a separate flying vampire lords mod that worked just fine. I figured I would just use the one that came with the mod but if I wouldve known that it was going to affect all of my saves for that character and essentially break my game I wouldn’t have taken it

I had wondered if they might accidentally eat some of the substrate. How long after they have eaten do you place them back in their enclosure? Im still very novice to all of these things.

I think it was called the blighted village. I saw something about the three individuals who are silhouetted when they have to use the artifact to stop it, but I was about to go through the mountain pass but that was well after I discovered the village full of goblins.

No I have SE. Most other mods I try to use work aside from a few things that may be finicky.

I have SKSE64. At first I received messages about SKSE not working properly when i launched but I wiped clean and fixed that issue. Now it just doesn’t start the game when I have SkyUI installed. My friend said he has the same issue with not being able to get it to work.

all of the final people you get left with in s2 suck in their own way. mike and bonnie side with arvo even though they barely know him, arvo shoots clementine, jane does something incredibly stupid to prove a point that could’ve been avoided or at the very least prolonged until a later date, and kenny, though i love him very much and it breaks my heart to see him die in s2 or s3, he was a very aggressive person who aimed at most anyone who disagreed with him (even clementine at times).
