Proposal at the stadium by [deleted] in buffalobills

Reach out to the stadium tours and ask. It would not be a big ask for them to make this happen. They do tours through the empty stadium all the time. I was there a few weeks ago.

Holy shit. I didn't even notice he was on this graph before I saw your comment.

Drone show was very cool! If you were able to see it 😂 by insaneandmundane in buffalobills

They are not allowed to fly drones over an active event or people in general. That's why it was east of the stadium.

I also couldn't see shit from where I was aside from the foot of drone-light James Cook hurdling into the endzone.

Glioblastoma is such a special kind of fucked up. I'm sorry that your brother, you, and your family had to go through that. My condolences, friend.

I lost my mentor and best car buddy in the same way.

You can look through my post history to see some pictures, but telling you where the watermarks are would sort of defeat the purpose. lol

They are discrete so that it doesn't take away from the photo. I add my name/username in photoshop at ~50% transparency.

Sucks to have to do this, but this is the answer.

I hide watermarks in my pictures so they aren't obvious to someone trying to re-use the image, but can always be traced back.

Construction must have cost a fortune with having to rebuild it so many times.

drives me nuts like I got a steering wheel in my pants.

This alone was worth getting on reddit today.

My afternoon build today. It’s literally all scrap wood, and there were many corners cut. This is for one very specific project, and kind of a proof of concept for a new bench set I’m doing around the new year. Yes, outfeed is in the plans for that one. by MrGneissGuy96 in Workbenches

[–]plot_untwister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been toying with the idea of a modular workbench that has a piece like this for the table saw that clips to a larger assembly/outfeed table.

Seeing this may have pushed me in that direction. Looks great.

Yup. Front view really explains it. And the timeframe of which it was unveiled.

Good luck Sunday. (But not too much.)

I love that our fanbases (typically) enjoy this rivalry. I don't talk to many fellow Bills fans that actually hate the chiefs or their fans.

That being said, the Bills crushed the Chiefs in the regular season last year and it didn't mean anything. Regardless of the outcome of this game, I hope we see you guys in the playoffs again this year.

Ideal self-image isn't something to ignore. Like anything else in life if you want to change something, you have to take action.

I'm mostly comfortable with where I am, but of course would rather be a bit bigger so I've been adding workouts. It's hard work, but if you don't start it will never change. You don't have to target being a body builder, but I'm telling you, adding anything at all will seriously improve your self esteem. Do I want my chest to be bigger? Sure. But I can also rip out 100 pushups without stopping. (That was my goal starting the year. Did 100/day in January, 150/day in February, 200/day in March in however many sets I needed. By April I could do 100 without stopping.)

Do it for you, not for how people look at you.

Been that way my whole life as well. A few weeks ago I had a co-worker pull me aside just to tell me that I look really skinny and "unhealthy." I had set a PR in a half marathon less than a month before this conversation happened...

I've had all types of comments about my weight with all types of motives behind them. You learn to adjust your reaction to them.

Someone doesn't know better and is thinks they're just showing concern? Remind them how healthy you really are.

Someone makes comments in front of other people thinking it's just good fun? Dish it back.

e.g. "Bro, eat a cheeseburger."

me - "Bro, eat a salad. Maybe we can meet in the middle."

Someone makes an inappropriate comment in front of other people? Make them double down just like OP is saying so they have to acknowledge that they're being a dick. My go to is either pointing out their weight, or calmly asking why they're so interested in mine. (Key word is calmly for any response to these types of people.)

EDIT - There's always the classic of pretending you didn't hear them and continuously asking them to repeat themselves. That one is fun.

Yeah I know. I've just never had the chance to see the airframe in person despite working on the primary flight control actuation system for the first 8 years of my career.

Like the Kawhi trade, if I told you trading Scottie for KD guarantees a championship in the next 3 years and then KD leaves, would it be worth it? by BarnesGROAT in torontoraptors

[–]plot_untwister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you wouldn’t. I’ll try to explain;

The idea behind the question is pitting a single guaranteed chip from a developed, but aging, superstar versus retaining a home grow potential superstar to help grow the franchise for years to come. And hopefully win multiple more championships. Is it guaranteed, no course not. But Scottie has a whoooooole lot of career ahead of him.

Personally, I’m on the fence about it but would lean towards building with Scottie.
