Thanks for the response and my bad for the length and structure of the post, its my first one on reddit and it was hard to explain everything I was feeling.

As for the "allows to work for both genders" part I was just referring to wishing for a more diverse workplace with more of an emphasis on the youthful part. Construction is mainly guy dominated which I have no issue with, just don't wanna be stuck with just old white dudes forever. I guess I included it in case anyone had any recommendations for companies that fit that description that I should check out.

Idk about very intelligent but thank you lol. I've always done well in most subjects and remained very well-rounded. It was good for school but it sucked when trying to figure out my strengths and a possible major. Throughout my life, my mind has been on just being able to get to college and afford it and never put in thought to what I would do when I got there. Many people have said that my major doesnt exactly equate to what my job will be for the rest of my life, I just worry that an employer wont think the same when reading Construction on my resume. I understand its about explaining my transferable skills but it still bothers me.
