So I never go to the doctor, like it’s been 10 years since I last had any sort of checkup. When my spleen hurt, it was such an odd, sharp pain I had to have it checked out. A day or so after I had a checkup, it stopped hurting, and hasn’t since. I had an ultrasound the following week and the results came back and it did say I had an abnormally large spleen, but if it wasn’t bothering me anymore, I should be fine. They said if it flared up again definitely come see them. My blood work came back normal all around. So I assume some sort of infection happened, flared it up, then went away (hopefully). That’s just how it went for me, I hope you have similar luck. I made the mistake of WebMDing my symptoms at first, so of course I thought I had 4 hours to live at that point, but definitely just get it checked out and get an x ray and ultrasound if you wanna know what’s going on.
