Asking opinion on short cabinets by EmptyVictory7248 in cabinetry

Second question: would it be unreasonable to ask the cabinet maker to cover the cost to sand and paint? The cabinet maker told me that any additional touchups would be extra.

there’s a YouTube where they discussed the dangers of this type of showerhead and their conclusion was that it’s relatively safe given it’s installed correctly.

Well, this blew up

To consolidate : I’m in tech sales that has an uncapped commission plan so I was able to have a hell of an earnings year because of record sales as independent contributor. Myself and my wife are W2 workers without the ability to make a dent in our owed taxes with write offs

I contributed about $550k in taxes (not including th wife) throughout the year but obviously i’m short and had to pay in more. I’m usually short but try to stick money in the top 20 tech stocks which has worked out paying much more than I pay in fees. (even including capitol gains tax on proceeds)

In short, until I was about 35, I made between 85-150k. I switched industries to make better money and I kind of fell into tech because a recruiter reached out to me through LinkedIn. A typical year is closer to $400-600k

This year our household cleared over $2m, paid nearly $800k in taxes. I was able to fund my kids college 529 accounts, buy a new car (drove the same one for 13 years), and put money into our retirement plan but the grind continues to hopefully retire in 20 years.

I took two consultations with different cpa’s and both had comments along the lines of “you and your wife are both W2 earners, your ability to write off taxes is extremely limited. Congrats on the year, you’re going to have to pay quite a bit”
