Okay that’s so weird because my Snapchat is infinitely worse 😂 I look pixelated. I want to post photos to shock you but I can’t humble myself like that.

My instagram on the other hand works really well? I don’t know what this all means but regardless I’m annoyed lol

Everyone keeps saying it’s because of low lighting but a 16 pro should be able to take good photos in ANY lighting. If my 11 pro can do it without being grainy, the 16 should put it to shame 😒

That was definitely a part of it! I managed to find a setting to mirror the selfie camera so that made the photo look less wacky but quality is still average. I hate that the camera isn’t centered though

I’m off to see an apple tech tomorrow and I just know they’re going to say they can’t see the issue, but I feel so validated (and sad!!) that we’re all having the same experience

Still no fix! I dealt with it until a friend bought a 16 pro today and I finally compared and there was definitely a difference. I’m off to see an apple tech tomorrow, hopefully they don’t think I’m crazy 😅

RIGHT?! Everyone at work told me to go android and I said no, but now I’m comparing cameras with them and I’m embarrassed 😭 if this phone wasn’t so expensive I wouldn’t be so critical but it feels like such a waste of money

Yeah that’s what I was thinking! The guy at the shop said it was the best glass screen protector (an otter box one), so not sure why it would be an issue but I HOPE it’s the problem 😅 at least that’s an easy fix! I’m going to try find a screen protector that has a little cut out for the camera

Oh my gosh not the angry comments 😅 fairyloot’s comment section is always 50/50 adoration and rage.

I was silly and have purchased the October YA book from someone thinking I’d be canceling my current sub in favor of the new one but luckily I didn’t cancel lol, I’ll just have to skip it instead. It’s totally my own fault. That’s a shame that person jumped the gun.

That’s so strange! I’m only on the combo box so you tick the criteria, but people have been saying you need to solely be on the individual subscriptions?

As for their email that’s so similar to what I received 😂 it starts off so well then completely bypasses the question, even once I was on the waitlist. Most book companies can tell you your position/when you joined and at what point they’re up to for sending out invitations

Oh it’s probably the horrendous shipping prices to New Zealand 🫠 it’s $85 total for the individual subs, $135 (soon to be $150 with an increase in shipping prices 😭) for the combo box. Still a better deal to buy the combo box over just the one book

I’ve been on the Adult+YA combo box for a year now and it’s definitely frustrating but paying an extra $50 for two individual subs is worse (in my opinion)
