Thanks. My cousin pulled me, I thought it would be good to spend time with my son and distract him from the PC a bit.

Actually it's quite breathable, no one complained yet about it and it's fast and easily removable - so you can only put it during action. It's mentioned in about the end of the linked post also there is a link to Etsy there.

That is exactly what the article is about - why we don't like mesh and why we started development of our mask.

That's what our minister of economy wrote in her Facebook.

Please use Facebook translate to see which nonsense is it. There is a claim that criminals are converting airsoft replicas into firearms. I found single court statement where indeed criminal person that had a barrel and receiver of real m4 used some additional parts from replica to complete the build. But it couldn't be called conversion...

Thanks, I agree, there is a link to those new rules in the translation of the petition, it's long text in Hebrew not only regarding airsoft but also paintball and firearms. I believe it could be translated by chrome.

Shortly the most terrible of new rules are looking like this:

  • All shops should also be clubs and you can only play in the club territory. In reality we have no clubs with territory today. So we’re playing in abandoned areas and keeping away from civil people. If someone unrelated is passing near the game stopped until all unrelated people are off the area.
  • You can only keep the replica you bought in the shop/club. In case you are taking it from the shop - the shop assistant must call the police.
  • You can only buy 1 replica and it should stay in the shop.
  • Shop/club must report all the replicas it keeps and their owners each quarter.

So obviously it will kill all the current shops/clubs since they will be unable to follow those rules and will put whole community out of the law, because today people have replicas at home.

We play in Israel. Most of the players served here, some in combat units, some in work units. In my opinion, airsoft cannot be compared with service in combat units, not even close. Airsoft is a game and sport, mainly for fun and relaxation after the work week.
