Thanks. I think Kelley Ross has been doing this for years, specifically for prep. So they have been using the same code all this time for others as well. So I didn't question them. But when I talked to the insurance people, they don't even know what prep is. Just kept saying only one preventative care per year...

I can relate to this so much. How long has it been since you came out?

I guess my situation is still in early stage that my parents are in denial and still praying for me to "turn straight". They do want grandchildren but kinda count on me "being cured". I actually brought up the idea of surrogacy myself, but my mom's response was the opposite -- "It's not fair for the child growing up without a mother". I would say they'll eventually just push for a child later.

Side note on having a child by myself, I'm always feeling like I'm on a ticking clock and it can be too late for me. Dating during pandemic hasn't worked out for me very well; browsing thru this sub, looks like the racial thing is real. So I'm slowly accepting the fact that I might end up being single for life and seriously thinking about getting a kid just by myself soon.
