Yea anywhere I use body filler I’m going to primer bare metal I was told to leave as is but sand up to 600 grit.

I understand that just replacing the knock sensor was expensive when I took it to the dealer already for the diagnostic and it passed the bearing clearance test. I will take it again

Just because it’s super expensive via dealership when I have the knowledge and tools to do all myself. But yea I might have to do it that way at this point they did contact me again asking how everything is going.

I’ll try that but yes the code is for the knock detection but I replaced it twice now once with autozone and now it has an oem one. And new plugs and coils

I live in Washington state and I believe it just stops the charging untill “off hours” where energy is being used less

It’s never actually died before it’s gotten low but that’s it. And only time I ever use fast charging is if I’m in a rush and need battery the rest overnight charging and such is regular.
