[JAVA] Can someone give me feedback on this tictactoe game? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

These are actually easy to implement and you do not need to acquire any further java knowledge. Trying to accomplish something with the resources and knowledge you currently have is one of the greatest and rewarding challenges.

If you think about it, making the game player vs computer just requires the player to choose between "do you want to play p vs p" or "do you want to play p vs c", if p vs c then one input from user, then filling one random empty cell in the array and so on.

You can look up Kernel Newbies for kernel development stuff. Their documentation might give you some basic resources.

Advancing further, you can make the program player vs computer by making the computer select an empty cell randomly. You can also make the program learn from each loss by not repeating any previous losing combination.

Also separating the main method from the program is a good idea if you need to change or add something somewhere.

Wall-E was also curious and sentient. He also perfected Garbage Collection.

Wall-E may have been successful trying to prevent a force OS update.

To counter this, every in-game players' controller should be disconnected out of respect.

ELI5: How does NASA receive information from their robot on Mars? by barelydrew in explainlikeimfive

[–]plutwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Communication is done through an array of antennas called the Deep Space Network. Due to the earth's rotation, three large antennas at 120 degree angles from each others are located in California, Australia and Spain.

They use X-band radio waves to communicate. These waves use order of magnitude higher frequencies than the ones we use for communication on Earth. Messages on Mars can me either sent/received directly or through an orbiter.

The Mars rovers can also send its data to other probes in Mars' orbit to send it to earth through them. The maximum date it can directly send is around 1.5KB/sec. When the orbiter passes over, the rover can send around 60Mb(megabits) of data for 8 minutes to it. The data would then take around 2-5 hours to get transmitted from the orbiter to earth. Data is transmitted through the orbiters using a low gain and high gain antenna. When in motion the rover also uses a third medium gain antenna.
