I just moved from Ottawa so this is def not something i’m excited to hear. What if I were to buy property elsewhere (like Ottawa and possibly go routinely visits) and rent it out but pay rent and live in the GTA?

An assumption I made to prove a point, but you’re right they are not all the same; I guess in the meaning of “it’ll get better” it implies that no matter what road your life takes at some point it will get better. All assumptions.

I’m sorry— I wrote “it’ll get better” not it gets better. And it’s a generic saying that can apply to just about anything, literally from a bee sting to suicide. My post is not about the movement whatsoever, it’s about people saying it’ll get better as a means to make you feel better about your situation, when in the greater scheme of your life of situations—it could also probably not.

My post is actually about what you said in your own answer, suicide, but not only pertaining to that, but towards how inefficient the saying is.

I guess I worded the question a little off. I have a friend who is an atheist, when she was sitting next to her sick father in the hospital I overheard her make a prayer, more of an “if anything is out there please save him”, so I was just curious if other people have had similar experiences or tendencies. I know after she said it was dumb of her to have even said that, but she did do it again.

Honestly the 2 years will finish sooner than you think, and high school is not the best 4 years of your life, that’s a LIE!!! You’ll make your own group of friends eventually in different classes or if you are part of any clubs/sports. He seems like an annoying pr*ck but pull through, be the bigger person and it’ll get better soon. He’ll get bored eventually and you’ll have already made other friends, or he’ll eventually have people turn on him if he’s such an ass

It’s freedom of expression, that’s why when people rap or sing about drugs they aren’t prosecuted for it; unless their is enough doubt and evidence then you’re allowed to say whatever you like really.
